Don’t let it slip away! Our Lagos Grotto Excursions will take you to explore the Benagil caves, known as one of Europe’s top 10 most admired caves, located between Praia do Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra!

Our journey starts from Lagos Marina, and we’ll pass by picturesque places such as Alvor, Portimão, and Carvoeiro, allowing you to marvel at the stunning beaches and the Algarve coastline. Our first stop will be the Carvoeiro caves, and the climax of the journey will be the grand encounter with the world-renowned Algar de Benagil caves.

These caves are absolutely breathtaking with crystal clear waters and unique rock formations that promise to leave a lasting memory!

Our expedition is on a brand-new 18-seat rigid inflatable boat (RIB) equipped with cushioned seating for maximum comfort during your journey.

Each of our tours is led by seasoned guides offering a highly personal service because we understand the importance of each of our patrons and are committed to providing unparalleled service.

On this trip it is not possible to get off the boat or stop for a swim.

Do it!! - Amazing experience, everything we saw was unbelievable and so worth the money. Finding the meeting spot was easy and riding the speed boat was very enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend!

Great trip with a great crew. - Crew on the boat were great. Very aware of safety and on a windy day they took steps to insure we were all comfortable. The views of the caves and shore sell themselves and could be seen on other charter companies. The service by this group was the icing on the cake.

WOW! - Wow! What an adventure! A highly experienced duo of Angelo and Maylon took on a magnificent boat tour, dodging wind, rain and other less experienced guides. Our visit to the caves was magical, unlike anything I had seen before. But, professional was the best part. Lagos Grotto Trips and Angelo and Maylon are the best! Try it and see. Thank you!

Caves excursion with Angelo and Maylon! - We had a great trip to the Benagil Caves on the boat with Captain Angelo and Guide Maylon. Both were excellent, with Angelo getting us very close with his navigation skills and with Maylon's explanations of the caves and rock formations. Very beautiful and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Pleasantly Surprised - When you are in another country and are bombarded with offers for tours and excursions, you never know what to expect. We went into this trip with and open mind. The price, thoroughness and experience was more than we had hoped for. The 2 gentlemen of the crew was knowledgeable, cared about our safety and comfort and were very entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour of the caves.

Amazing scenery - Amazing scenery going up close and through some of the rock scenery. Great staff and well worth its cost. Would definitely do it again. Jack and Bia were fabulous guides.

Cute Couple in a boat to Benagil - Angelo and Pedro of Lagos Grotto Trip know what they are doing. This trip covered every cave corner and nook. They know what they are doing and are generous with time and explanation. If your looking to stay in the boat highly suggest. Organized and some fancy boat tricks an added bonus. They like my hat said it was perfect to keep the sun away

Very very nice - Boat ride & guide. Caves very nice. Guide knew a lot of info and stories of the caves. Would highly recommend . Was a beautiful day to spend on the water
