Wonderful views, wonderful guide! - João was absolutely wonderful, kind and passionate — one could tell that he really enjoys meeting people and wants to share his love and passion for his hometown, and his country. We loved every bit of the trip, and it was a very memorable and beautiful experience. Highly recommended!

Awesome tour during Corona 2020! - It was our first time to say "Covid-19" has a good side. We got a private tour with our charming tour guide João! :) We had enough time to visit the beach and go shopping in Lagos! He gave us some great history for Lagos and Sagres as well as some exploration time on our own. He was extremely friendly and we 100% recommend this trip.

Best day of our trip - What a great experience this trip was (Feb 9th). A full day with Joao and Daniella is made better due to their love and knowledge of the area. Best tour guide in the Algarve - The Algarve is spectacular. If you want to see more of the area with a tour guide who grew up there and provides a tour with the biggest heart around - this is the tour to choose. We had the great fortune of taking the full day Lagos & Sagres tour with Joao. This tour included a stop at the lighthouse at Cape St. Vincent, an old castle, picture stops, the navigation school where Christopher Columbus trained, a fishing village where we stopped to have lunch and enjoy fish/octopus fresh out of the water that day, a stop at the beautiful Salema beach, time to walk around and have a coffee in beautiful Lagos... It was just a fabulous day made that much more special by our tour guide. Never have I had a more genuine, kind, sweetheart of a tour guide as Joao. Book this tour. You won't be disappointed.

Joao explained us all kind of detailed local information and made our tour super fun. Wonderful tour with Joao - My wife and I had a lovely day with Joao - he thoughtfully rearranged the order of the tour so we visited Cape St Vincent first when the winds were calmer, then we worked our way back along the coast visiting charming fishing villages, out of the way beaches and stunning cliff top views. Our guide Joao was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour and Joao as a guide.

Our favorite tour! - We went on the tour with João after we had previously went on two other bus tour groups in the Algarve. João was personable, attentive, knowledgeable, and very down to earth. He met us at our doorstep for our AirBNB when our previous bus tours required us to walk 15 minutes to the main bus stop. We were on a small tour with a total of 6 people which was perfect. We could actually hear what our guide was telling us and communicate with him and the others in our group in English. The bus tours easily hold 50 people and you too often miss important information because people have side conversations or you’re too far in the back to hear. Lagos was a lovely city and João gave us plenty of time to explore on our own after giving us a historical tour of the area. Our other bus trips made us feel like we were in a cattle herd with very little time allotted to enjoy the destinations themselves. Sagres was phenomenally stunning and so worth the price of admission. If I only had one day in the algarve, I would spend it on this all day tour in a heartbeat. The sights were so lovely and João was a wonderful host.

Our special day made special! - We were in Algarve this year in march to celebrate our thrid year wedding Aniversarry. We booked private tour to explore lagos and sagres with Algarving tour to celebrate our special day. We felt really nice in the compoany of Joao.He was very helpful and friendly and showed us the place in nice way with so much of information and knowledge. We enjoyed and had a great day, thanks for making our special day memorable. Although, We had booked this tour just a day before it was one of the best expereice we hadon our trip.
