Kick off your day-long excursion with a hotel pick-up in Khao Lak between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and head towards the river. Board a bamboo raft and drift through the waters, unwind and appreciate the breathtakingly beautiful surrounding rainforest as a local raftsman guides your raft.
Take a look at a sea turtle preservation centre that is dedicated to rescuing and boosting the sea turtle population in this part of the world. The Royal Thai Navy is vigorously involved in turtle conservation, and hatchlings are transported to the center, where they are cared for 6-8 months prior to being returned to the ocean.
Round off the tour with a visit to Ton Pling Waterfall, the area’s primary waterfall. Immerse yourself in the wonderful atmosphere and admire the spectacular scenery that envelops you.
