As the evening approaches, Thamel, the popular tourist hub, offers an array of restaurants serving a variety of cuisines ranging from local Nepali delicacies to international dishes. This will give you an opportunity to sample the delectable Nepalese cuisine or savor the flavors of home away from home.

Take a walk back to Kathmandu over Gosainkunda instead of riding your way back. Gosainkund boasts a captivating high-altitude azure lake. It’s recommended to trek to Gosainkunda while returning from Langtang rather than heading there, considering the somewhat sharp ascent it requires. By making the journey at this stage, you’d be better acclimatized, resulting in lesser worries about the lake’s altitude (4,380 m.). (Undertaking this trail without a guide requires caution with the altitude—several trekkers have been misled by an erroneous altitude listing in a popular trekking map.
Boarding & food
The Langtang Valley was well-equipped with numerous cozy lodges. The standard here is impressive, featuring warm beddings, hearths, comfy beds, rare hot showers (at an additional charge) and a range of cuisines. Make sure you taste the momos in this area—they are bigger and have more of a pastry-like texture than those typically available in the city.
