A Highlight of my Vegas trip - I am so happy I did this tour! I hadn't planned to do any sightseeing tours while visiting Las Vegas but I love the downtown area and when I saw this one I knew it would help give me a better sense of the origin of this interesting city in the desert. We poked around the main and side streets and walked through hotels and casinos and were shown things I never would have known to look for. The only thing that could have made this tour better is if we had unlimited time-- The tour guides had so much knowledge and many great stories and made me think of so much more I was curious to know. Their enthusiastic sharing was so uplifting, I'm now interested to see what other tours I can do. Its a great thing to do in the afternoon when there's not much else happening. Learning the history of Vegas and they way they told the stories and how all the characters came into play really brought the city alive for me in a whole different way and helped me appreciate all the unique things about Las Vegas culture. And I got to learn how Vegas became the '9th Island' and began attracting so many people from Hawaii (where I live)!

Even though I am local I found the tour educational and fun! - This was my first time taking a walking tour of Vegas and I loved it! I live in Vegas but love acting like a tourist and was eager to learn new things about the city and I definitely did! Learned about: The old railroad station behind Plaza Hotel The former red light district (block 16) The female real estate investors that started Vegas and got the first gaming licenses Saw the first telephone in Vegas Cultural history Evolution of business in Vegas Got to see parts of Fremont Street that I did not know existed such as parts of former hotels inside Golden Gate Hotel. This is also a great tour for anyone wanting to see the popular Fremont Street Experience light show (even by day), street performers, zip-lining people above, and the classic casinos. Laurinda the tour guide was very enthusiastic and passionate, and I could tell she had much more to say about the city than the 90 min tour allows; She delightfully answered my personal questions as we walked. Bring water, sunscreen, and a camera(phone). I recommend this tour!
