Amazing and beautiful experience, nothing was too much trouble - Our tour was booked for late May, and the snow had gone from the dog sledding track by the kennels. Bergþóra emailed me to say that she could do our tour from the skiing area above Húsavík. She had to drive the sled and 9 dogs nearly 60km to meet us, but nothing was too much trouble. She provided warm overalls and boots for us, and the tour was an absolutely stunning experience - we were the only people (and dogs) for miles around and the whole thing was almost surreal. The dogs are beautiful and clearly love to have a good run - they are also extremely friendly and are always open to a cuddle! We travelled down to the kennels in the afternoon to meet all 36 huskies and to learn more about them. One of the best days of my life - I'm not exaggerating when I say that this was one of the best days of my life. The sledding portion of the tour was amazing. When the sledding ended, we were gifted with a generous amount of quality time with the SUPER-affectionate dogs. The guides and hosts genuinely love the dogs and made it an incredible experience.

Great nature experience - A great experience. The huskies (with enough time for contact and cuddling), the owners/guides (very friendly and with lots of interesting information about the area and the animals), the tour (great landscape and lots of opportunities to take photos) everything was great. To protect your own clothes and against the cold, there were overalls in all sizes. Special service: On the way back we got stuck in the snow 500 meters from the farm and the farmer came with his truck and kindly pulled us back onto the road.

One in a lifetime dog sledding experience - WOW! If you're in the area you have to do this. If you're not in the area, then you have to make a detour to do this!! The staff are so professional, kind, helpful and have a passion for their dogs and their business. We were pushed for time and they went out of their way to assist us with making a booking. We were lucky enough to meet the owners and their wonderful team who spent many hours telling us about their huskies, the history of dog sledding and of the local area. We spent time at the immaculate kennels before the experience meeting the dogs, assisting getting them ready and then the most amazing hour spent racing across a frozen lake being pulled by very happy huskies! After we went back to the kennels for husky cuddles and kisses, a tour of the facilities and just the most wonderful chats with the team. The dogs clearly love what they do and are cared for beautifully. I can wholeheartedly say this is one of the most incredible experiences I have had and will be forever grateful to the Snow Dog team for today. THANK YOU ❤️
