A great way to explore the beautiful Tamar River! - This was the second time we have been on this cruise, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience once again. The cruise was on a Cabin Cruiser with lower and upper decks and outside viewing areas, and took 2.5 hours in total. The captain gave a very interesting commentary on the outward leg of the journey, and on the return journey tea, coffee and cakes were served along with a wine and beer tasting, and a pay bar. The last part of the cruise includes a trip up the beautiful Cataract Gorge. A really wonderful way to spend the afternoon and see some beautiful parts of the Tamar Valley.

Tamar River Cruises is world class cruises, 10/10!! - Tamar River Cruises is world class cruises, 10/10!! We spent our summer break in Tasmania and were recommended by a friend that a must do is the Tamar River Cruises. I am so pleased we went on the cruise; the views were breath taking; the gorge is spectacular and really takes your breathe away. The boats are in excellent condition and so smooth on the water. The service was amazing, the captain was friendly and very insightful and the staff in the ticket office spoke us through all the options and helped us select a cruise that suited us. I highly recommended Tamar River Cruises! I will be back again next year and next time for the cruise with the cheese and wine!!!

Great cruise and river experience - We went on this wonderful cruise today of the Tamar Valley, starting with a cruise into Cataract gorge and a look at the steep cliffs , bridges and walking tracks, with some history of the area as well ! Then we had a great cruise up the Tamar river with running ( and often very funny ) commentary from the captain Callum! We were able to view many beautiful birds, many lovely old homes , and wineries as we cruised by ! We also had endless tea and coffee and a nice afternoon tea on the cruise ship. We were also treated to a tasting of some of the local wines and beers ! All in all it was a very enjoyable afternoon and I would highly recommend it to anyone !!!

Relaxing - Nice relaxing afternoon cruise down the river. Lyn, the skipper, is very knowledgeable about the local area. Includes tasting of 3 local wines and 1 beer. This cruise is more suited to old geriatrics than young people, but still a nice experience.

Not covidsafe. Quite boring. - No covid Marshall's and so a number of the passengers took off their masks. Not whilst eating, all the time. Only one reminder to wear them over announcement, but noone properly checking and ensuring we were safe. Very concerning, as the boat was full of people. Boat went up a river and back, quite boring. About 5 mins only in the gorge. It was alot of money to see a muddy river with a few pretty birds.
