Fascinating and memorable tour - This was a well organised and highly enjoyable tour. León is ideal for a day trip - fascinating, compact and accessible with many sights worth seeing. David is highly knowledgeable about the history and culture of León, and Nicaragua more generally, and gave useful insights on those topics. Highly recommended.

Amazing day trip with Amazing guides to Leon! - An absolutely "AMAZING" day trip. My guides Kevin and Eliazer were superb. Their knowledge of history and sense of humor kept me completely entertained. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much. I would take another tour with this company just to have them as my guides. They picked me up on time and were excellent at taking pictures and videos which I really appreciated since I tend to post my trips on Instagram. They also gave me lots of suggestions about other places to visit in Nicaragua. It was truly a memorable day. Thank you Kevin and Eliazer. You guys are the best. These guides and this tour is totally recommended.

Betty&Mike - I recommend this trip to the city of Lyon on a breezy day. It is extremely hot 🥵 to walk around during summer time. We cut some activities out due to the high temperatures . The tour guides pleased us and were kind and professionals, Karina and Isaak, in addition, excellent drivers.

Striking historical tour - Our tour guide was Gustavo and he was great. He was right on time and told us about Leon and Nicaraguan culture during the car ride. We wanted to skip a stop and he was happy to abide. The old cathedral in Leon is where Ruben Dario was buried, so you definitely don't want to miss the tour!

Exploring Leon Viejo and Leon - My husband and I had a great time on this excursion with Daniel and Julio from Show Me Nicaragua Tours. Our guides were informative, fun and passionate about Nicaragua! We stopped for photos and to take in the view at Lake Xolotlan, enjoyed quesillos for a mid morning snack, then headed to the ruins of Leon Viejo, which were very interesting. The modern city of Leon has the classic town center with cathedral, which we explored. Throughout the day, we were taking in the sights and sounds of Leon and surroundings. It was a wonderful experience!

Leon Tour - The guides didn’t have the training to provide historical context or even general info about the city or ruins, so it was not what I was expecting. Still, they were very nice people, and the locations were beautiful.

Dont do it - I dont even know where I should begin. I was picked up and there was a person in the back. He is studying to become a tour guide and my private tour was his practice. We rode in silence to Leon ... no music or anything. Once we arrived, the guide was not energetic or anything. We passed by several markers on the way to the cathedral. I was taking pictures. They did not explain anything. After the church we went to a museum but the museum was in Spanish. That would've been ok if the guide had any enthusiasm but she didnt. I ended up leaving the museum after room 1 but I still had to pay. We drove to the ruins, in silence, and that too was a waste. Finally I asked to just eat lunch and return back to Managua. We rode and rode and rode. Next thing I know we were back in Managua, and I had not eaten a thing. They asked if I would like to stop anywhere as we were at my hotel. I asked if they could take me to the gas station to get something to drink. The tour ended 1-2 hours EARLY. I ended up putting in for a partial refund. There was no enthusiasm or excitement at all. It was like they did not want to be at work on that day and I paid the price

Awful! Waste of money. - 1. Have a guide who really does speak English if that is what you have promised. Our guide could not answer simple English questions. 2. Have a guide who actually knows the place he/she is showing. Our guide had never been to Léon, the town he was showing us, before.
