Horseback riding & zip-line adventure - Tour was amazing! The tour guide Estevan was amazing, so kind and informative on the land and country. Learned a lot and had so much fun! Would recommend.

Costa Rica vacation - Went to riu palace with Sunwing vacations. Sharlley was our Sunwing representative and made check in and check out a breeze. She also set us up with the excursions we wanted. Our group of 40 did diamante sanctuary/zip lining, catamaran and hot spring excursions. She made these transactions and trips easy. Highly recommend her as your representative and stay at the RIU palace!

Ismael and David - David was a perfect rep bringing us from the airport and helping us understand the country! Ismael helped us back book our excursions and went above and beyond in getting us on the trips with different accessibility issues and also helped with all of our internet and technological issues. Pura Vida.

Excellent Excursion - The farm and rainforest before lunch. The farm and rainforest were very educational. We also enjoyed the lunch and the rainforest tour after lunch.

Nexus Tours - We were picked up early in the morning and bird-watched from the Pacific over the mountaintop to the lush Caribbean side, saw numerous 68 varieties of birds, our guide was ver knowledgeable with all the information about the country, for lunch we had “Casado” at a Cocoa Plantation, we had a wonderful adventure and would highly recommend it. Lovely Costa Rica, Amazing People - Ishmael and Sharley were our AMAZING reps at Riu Palace and they recommended and help us book incredible excursions that suited us both. They made sure we had everything we needed to have an absolutely incredible experience here in Costa Rica and were there to answer and assist us with anything we needed. We cannot say enough how grateful we were to have them!!! We had an AMAZING time with Chris who guided us through an incredible “lazy River” boat ride and shared his incredible knowledge and love of Costa Rica with us! Juan-Carlos took us through some AMAZING snorkeling, and helped of us with a fear of water to have a truly wonderful experience. He showed us the cave at Playa Heuvo, and pointed out many species along our boat ride including turtles and sting rays! We got a wonderful tour of the chocolate plantation with Hoel and had a great view of rainforest where we saw many sloths!

No representative to get information from - The rep was supposed to meet us and we never saw him. No support at all. Luckily nothing has gone wrong so far. We have another week. Fingers crossed

Disappointed - I want to start by saying that my travel party and I loved Costa Rica and thought all the tours were beautiful and the country itself is amazing. Although, booking through Nexus was not the best experience for us. First, the Nexus employee we booked with was very condescending and rude when we were asking basic questions about the excursions we were interested in. When we did book, we were promised certain things, such as transportation directly to the excursion site, but on the day of the excursion, that was not the case. We had to drive an extra hour out of the way to pick up people from another hotel due to "scheduling error". This was a true inconvenience for us since the trip was already 2.5 hours away. Secondly, we booked a private transfer back to the airport instead of the group transfer, which we paid extra for, and the transfer was 15 minutes late. Now, I know 15 minutes is not a huge deal, but when you have to get through the airport and make your flight, your transfer being late can definitely cause nervousness. Overall, our experience in Costa Rica at our resort and out on the excursions was fantastic, but being lied to about our excursion and being spoken down to by the Nexus employee was absolutely a drawback and I would not recommend this company again. There were many other companies at the hotel for excursions and we should have looked around first.
