Most enjoyable tour! - Our tour guide, Susan was full of a great wealth of knowledge about not only Lima, but the whole country of Perú! We had so much fun learning about the history as well as the politics of Peru! We enjoyed our conversation so much and it was nice how she took us to so many different parts of Lima meanwhile educating us on all of the history behind each place. The most memorable part was stopping in for a little Cusco sour tasting and fitting in a quick little bit of shopping! Susan was the best tour guide, along with Valeria- who was in training, and together they made our experience most enjoyable!!!

Enjoyed immensely with Suzanne and Lidman - San Francisco cloisters and catacombs very interesting, even though photos not allowed. City centre enjoyably unrushed as early Palm Sunday morning. Then more colourful as choirs and church congregations came with lots of families and groups singing. Wonderful atmosphere. Pyramid also worth seeing. Suzanne guided us most professionally and caringly with loads of context, history and facts. She also gave us a palm. :-)

Catacombs & History of Lima 10/10 - The whole tour was amazing. Picked up at the hotel on time and taken into the city. Our guide was amazing in telling us the history of what we were looking at. The churches & architecture was spectacular to view. The catacombs & monastery were a highlight of the day. Trying the different pisco sour types at a local shop was a great experience and the shopping was excellent. Finished by going to the waterfront to watch paragliding & to see the love park.

Well informed tour - Our guide Alfredo is very experienced and knowledgeable about the city. He is trying his best to help us see the city of Lima. Driver Peter is very professional as well.
We also had good conversations about Peru history and politics.

Rushed City Tour - The tour guide, driver, and car was all really nice. The tour was 3 hours not 4 hours (transport I guess is included in the 4 hours but you are only touring for 3 hours). The stop to the ruins is not a real stop you look through the gate and the tour doesn’t provide tickets to the attraction. The catacombs is the highlight but you could honestly do this yourself. We paid $88 USD per person and it wasn’t worth that price, more like a $40 tour in our opinion or something you could do yourself if you have a little bit of time.

Fine - The tour was fine. The guide was knowledgeable but was clearly just going through the motions. He didn’t ask me or my husband our names when the driver dropped us off at the meeting point, he just started the tour. There was little context provided for the sights we saw. I didn’t feel as though I learned very much about the lovely city of Lima through this tour. However, the tour of the church was particularly nice, and it was clear that the guide was very passionate about it. When we were dropped off, the guide accepted the tip we offered from my husband and got back in the car without saying goodbye to me. I would have appreciated a more personal approach, especially on a private tour.
