• Chorrillos - Chorrillos “The Main Local Fish Market of Lima”.
  This is the first place we visit where you will learn about one of the main economies of Peru (fishing). Also, your local guide will show you the different tools and baits used by locals for doing that important activity. You’ll see the Peruvian sea really close and know why Lima is a desert.
• Mercado nro 1 de Surquillo - Mercado Surquillo N1

This is a very varied and real mercado, where vendors display their freshest produce, and also the closest to Miraflores. Here we will enjoy a delicious typical Cebiche and Peruvian drink, which is the favorite of the local vecinos. This market is the oldest market located in the workers barrio. Then we’ll take a look around the neighborhood in our way to the next stop.

• Surquillo - Mercado Número Dos

Here you will sample some native Peruvian fruits, Granadilla, cactus fruit, aguaymanto,cucumber melon and more, not only from the coast but from the Andes and jungle as well. Furthermore, you will taste exotic Amazonian food, ¡buenazo! Made by my amazonian amigas ‘Las Charapitas’. Then some of the Criolla peruvian food.
The main intention of this tour is to make you feel like one more local, that is why we will try the exquisite daily meals with the residents of Surquillo.
Of course we will try the drink most consumed by us, “Chicha morada” (purple corn juice).
You will not think about dinner until tomorrow. Light breakfast is recommended.
