Great overview of Peruvian food - With stops at the market, the Chinese quarter, a couple of street vendors, and a couple of popular establishments in the historic center, the tour offered a good overview of the Peruvian staples and the Lima food scene. Lorena is a lovely person and a fantastic guide and companion. Highly recommended.

Don’t miss Choji’s amazing food tour - We loved every minute of our food tour with Choji. We scheduled the food tour on our first day in Lima and now that we are home, still think it was the most interesting and delicious adventure we experienced on our 10 day trip, besides the natural beauty of Machu Pichu. The tour was well worth the price! We tasted more than what was listed in the description, learned so much about Peru and saw so many interesting places that aren’t on the usual tours. Go on the tour with an empty stomach as the tastes were many and were delicious.Thank you Choji for giving us a day we won’t forget.

Lorena in Lima! - So many wonderful memories were made during our day long tour of Lima with Lorena. We started our day when she graciously met us at our hotel at 10AM. We spent the next 5 hours walking and using Uber all over the city while also learning about the historic and archeological history of Peru and Lima. Along the way Lorena gave us opportunities to sample many of the local and country's delicacies and interesting unique foods. Some examples are: causa, ceviche, churros, local grown coffees, and local fruits (lucuma & more!) at one of the cities main Mercados. Shopping for alpaca products/jewelry and then a recommendation for a fabulous dining experience at Huaca Pucllana near the adobe/clay pyramid. We would highly recommend Lorena as a guide to anyone visiting Lima, is a foodie, and appreciates historical education.

Great food, local experience! - We had a 10 hour layover in Lima, this tour was the only thing we did (before returning two weeks later)! Choji was fantastic. He perfectly blends history of Lima and Peru with food. He has culinary expertise from all over the world, and it offers an incredible insight into the various foods he exposed us to during the tour. He is flexible, he will go with the flow and create a perfect experience for you. Having been native to Lima for a most of his life, he shows you his favorite spots, favorite dishes, and we immediately felt immersed in the culinary culture of Peru. 11/10 Choji is awesome, do not hesitate to book!

A fantastic experience. - We had an amazing tour with Choji. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Peru, Lima and most of all the food. The exotic fruit tasting could have been a whole tour in itself and it was just one of the bites. Highly recommend Choji for this and probably any tour.

Lovely food tour - This was a nice food tour to experience different parts of Lima that I wouldn't have otherwise visited (Chinatown, and the market)! the food was really good and our tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour, however, my reasoning for 4 stars is that the first food tasting took too long from when the tour started because we were getting a walk around and history lesson of the city center, and also because at the end of the tour, our guide took us to a park to wait for our Uber and didn't wait with us until our Uber came. There were groups of men coming up to my female friend and I asking where we were from, where we were staying, where we were going, and just generally making us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
