Puerto Limon - The first stop its on a fruit stand, you can taste tropical fruits like the best pineapple in Costa Rica!
The tour guide will show you some plants, like the pineapple, Liberica Coffee bush, sugar cane also some trees like Cacao tree, mango and noni tree. - Puerto Limon - Beside the fruit stand we have the souvenir store, here you can taste a great coffee and find great merchandise made in Costa Rica
- Province of Limon - Our second stop. Will be Visit banana and chocolate plantations, where you will see banana plants, coffee plants and cacao trees, the tour guide will give you explications of this plantations.
- Province of Limon - The Highlight, a boat ride in one of the biggest canals in Costa Rica, great place for wildlife, here you will have chance to see, Howler monkeys, sloths, caimans, crocodiles, birds and more!
- Playa Bonita - Our last stop will be in Playa bonita (Pretty beach), on this stop you can drink sodas, smoothies, coctails or beer, also if you want you can eat something, I recommend you the Rice and Beans with caribean salse, or Patacones the local chips in Costa Rica made with Plantains
- Puerto Limon - The last part will be a City tour in Port Limon, you will see important buildings like the first Bapthis Church in limon, the old train station, the main church in the town, the Big boy Stadium the only stadium of baseball in all the province.

Great and delicious tour - Our tour guide Risheylin and the driver Cato were super nice and catered to our individual needs. They were both very friendly, open, funny and answered all of our questions, even during the tour.

Great tour guides - Great tour. Great tour guides. We saw a banana plantation and a beautiful beach, the water was a bit dangerous with the current, but it was really beautiful. There is a life guard on the beach

Puerto Limon River Cruise and City Tour - Were a few drawbacks as the van's air-conditioning was not up to the job and some stops not that interesting. But Risheylin our young guide did a great job and made up for any deficiencies (thus the 5 stars). She was very knowledgeable and did her best to accommodated everyone.

Outstanding Tour in Costa Rica - Outstanding tour. Vanessa met our party of six at Port Limon. Vanessa also had a driver so she was able to give us her undivided attention. We departed immediately for Tortuguero Canals. Upon arrival we boarded a boat. It was so much fun. We saw monkeys, sloths, and all kinds of birds. The boat driver was extremely knowledgeable about the animals. Next we stopped at a banana plantation and Vanessa explained to us how bananas grew and the exportation process from Costa Rica to other countries. We then went to a fruit stand and tasted the best fruit I ever had. I'll go back to Costa Rica just for the fruit. A little girl approached us and wanted to give us a butterfly tour. So we went. Amazing. The butterflies were beautiful and some of them actually landed on us. We then went to a gift shop and sampled rum and coffee and purchased souvenirs. Our last stop was at a restaurant with a gorgeous view of the beach. It was a fantastic day!

Easy and Relaxed Tour - The tour guide was great and tried so hard to see animals that we could view. Unfortunately, there was not much to see .....but we had a nice afternoon. Everything was very organized....A pleasant outing.

Enjoyed being outside.. - My parents and I did something pretty similar to this tour..but it was not the exact tour that is, as described on the website. Our family did experience being out on the narrow canal in Costa Rica. The same gentleman that did the tour guide on the tour bus, he continued his commentary in the passenger boat. The part of this tour that I admired and enjoyed the most was seeing the animals in their own habitat. What I didn’t like the most about the type of tour I experienced was spending a bit too much wasted time finding the animals. Now it’s one thing to see the animals and admire them, it’s another to stay in 1 spot for a good 20 minutes!! That bothered me/ got to me the most. Like what’s the point in being out on the canal if your just gonna float and allowing everyone on the boat to see the animals from a distance?! In the US, we have zoo’s…but obviously not in a country like CR. We spent a bit too much time really enjoying the animals that the captain of the boat zoomed the passengers back to the loading and unloading area. Like he went full throttle!! That I liked but didn’t like that our time was wasted…all due to seeing the animals and allowing everyone to see them. That bothered the most. I personally would not consider this tour in the near future to others. Doesn’t matter if someone is a first timer, a repeat customer or not. Would rather experienced tree top zip lines, a waterfall tour etc.
