The Cartuxa Winery at Quinta Valbom has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years, preserving its rich architectural and historical heritage. Today, the Cartuxa Winery is a key production site for the wines of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. The name Cartuxa comes from the 16th-century Cartuxa Monastery, located next to the winery, which is part of the Foundation’s heritage. • Albernoa - Built in 2005, Herdade of Grous is the winery employs modern processes to ensure the exceptional quality of its wines, from the manual selection of grapes to the gentle maceration of each variety.

Visitors can participate in guided tours of the winery, where they can learn about the various stages of wine production and taste some of the estate’s finest wines. The wine tourism experiences include wine tastings, exquisite dinners at the winery, and other activities such as horseback riding, cycling, or even hot air balloon rides​.
