Paradise for a day - Will definitly go again! - Our tour guide Nuno was amazing, he kept us enthralled throughout the whole experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be around! We were informed well in advance via email of a cancellation on the original day that we booked due to the sea being too rough to make the crossing from Peniche to Belenga, but we were able to rebook for the following day with ease. The Island itself is absolutely stunning and a must see! There's a really nice restaurant with amazing food and a nice bar/cafe just behind. It really felt like paradise. Small beach, glass bottom boat tour, restaurant/bar, and a small bit of hiking to a Fortress with some incredible history attached to it. We were advised beforehand regarding sensible clothing/footwear so we all turned up prepared. It definitly helps if you're good with being on boats and are up for a bit of hiking. But when I went, our group consisted of all ages, even a small child who had a brilliant time! The option to add pictures isn't working for some reason but just google/instagram search of Belenga Island, it really does look like that! I can't wait to return to Portugal to do it again.

Beautiful - Very beautiful island. Should be in relatively good physical health….lots of hills and steps to walk. Loved the boat trip that took us through the caves.

10/10 Berlengas Tour - We had a great day visiting the Berlengas! The island was beautiful and fun to explore. When we got to the island the weather conditions weren’t great which caused the boat ride over to be a little rocky. Despite the weather, our tour guide was still able to make the experience informative and fun. When the weather cleared up we were able to enjoy the beautiful beach and go for a swim. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Lisbon area!

Wonderful - Excellent tour! We were with Gil and he was so knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. He was accommodating towards every person, knew everything about the island and its history, and answered all of our questions! The best part was that Gil was a wonderful storyteller, as well as balanced an organized, structured experience with giving us time to explore the island on our own. Very professional! We would definitely recommend :) Thank you, Gil!

Definitely worth seeing! - We were very happy with this tour. The ferry ride over to the island did not make any body sea sick like a lot of reviews had said.

Something different - When people asked us where else were we going and I would say Berlenga Island the most common response is “Where is that?”. It’s still a little bit under the radar. But it was amazing to spend the day in a unique island and also get to have a beach day that was not too crowded. The climb was a bit steep but the caves visit was quite fun. Nuo -our guide kept in engaging and also made an effort to get to know the people we were with. This was the hardest climb for us. The island itself is a UNESCO site so it limits the number of visitors to the Island. To get to the fort you either get it through a boat or climb from the docks. There are no safety rails to hold to as you climb. But our tour guide made sure we were all safe and ok. The experience itself was great and quite unique. The tour organization itself was all a bit sketchy. The tour description says 8 AM and all of us were there by 8 AM with no one around. A number of us had to chat with the tour operator to re-confirm and we got the message that it was at 9:15 instead. I wish they emailed that to us in advance. I checked my email and all it said was the time will be re-confirmed in a separate email. The notice would have given us more time to sleep or grab breakfast.

Not great - Too much of time was wasted on the islands. The day could have been better planned. The tour guide was lovely however they could have been better planning with the weather and the boat ride to the islands. It was not a good experience. Also hold onto your valuables.
