Its religious significance has been widely acknowledged both nationally and internationally. By the express will of the Holy Apostolic See, it is designated as a National Shrine. It is also one of the most significant Marian shrines globally within the Catholic Church and the largest international religious tourism destination, attracting around six million visitors annually. It has been honored with three papal gold roses and visited by Popes Paul VI (1967), John Paul II (1982, 1991, and 2000), Benedict XVI (2010), and Francis (2017).

Batalha Monastery - The Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, commonly known as the Monastery of Batalha, is located in the town of Batalha, in the Center region of the Beira Litoral province, Portugal. It was constructed in 1386 by King João I of Portugal in gratitude to the Virgin Mary for the victory over the Castilian rivals at the Battle of Aljubarrota. This Dominican Order monastery was built over two centuries until around 1563 during the reign of seven Portuguese kings, although the first Dominican friars resided there from 1388. The monastery, showcasing Late Gothic Portuguese architecture or Manueline style, is recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO and was selected as one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal on July 7, 2007. In Portugal, it has been classified as a National Monument since 1910 by IPPAR and has held the status of National Pantheon since 2016.

Nazaret - Artesanato e design de Autor - Nazaré is a Portuguese village in the district of Leiria, serving as the seat of the municipality with approximately 10,300 residents. It is located in the province of Extremadura, part of the Intermunicipal Community of the West in the Center region.

The town is the center of a small municipality covering 82.43 km² with 15,158 inhabitants (2011), divided into three parishes. The municipality is bordered to the north, east, and south by the county of Alcobaça and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean.

The current urban area of the village combines three ancient settlements: Pederneira, Sítio da Nazaré, and Praia da Nazaré, along with new neighborhoods from the latter half of the 20th century, such as Urbisol and Rio Novo, which emerged from the natural expansion of the original three nuclei (P.D.M., 1997).

Farol de Nazare - The Nazaré Lighthouse is a Portuguese lighthouse situated in the Fort of São Miguel Arcanjo, Nazaré, in the West region. It features a round, bright red, iron lantern with a service balcony, mounted on the fort’s wall. The light operates with a two-second on and one-second off cycle. The lighthouse, located in the São Miguel Arcanjo Fort, has been classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1978.

Day trip to Fatima, Nazare and Óbidos. - Jalaludin (Juan) was kind and courteous. He dresses professionally and was considerate about our needs. We customized the tour to spend more or less time or to do something by special request. That flexibility made everything terrific.

Unforgettable time in Portugal - We visited Fatima, Oblidos, Nazare and Batalha beautiful towns. But the best part of our experience was our driver Joan. Very nice gentlemen. He was super knowledgeable and very patient. We got a private tour and it was the best because we could take our time at our destinations. Super recommend this company. You feel safe (we could leave our belongings with Joan) and you enjoy the company while you visit.

Good trip - great driver. - Driver actually picked us up at our hotel. Miguel gave us all the time we needed but in hindsight, I wish we had researched Fatima more closely because it was confusing as to where to go, etc.

The trip was comfortable and efficient, as Rui knew all the best ways to maneuver through each stop with expertise while providing so much great knowledge. We were able to enjoy all the stops and soak in the experience without feeling rushed and still returned almost an hour early! We were very happy make good time, as we had a dinner reservation after the tour.
