Additional Information
Embark on a 9-hour group journey through the central-west region of Portugal, from Lisbon. This tour, limited to 8 participants, will be conducted solely in English. Your first destination is Fatima, a significant Catholic religious site receiving over 6 million visitors annually. Later, you’ll explore Nazare, a coastal city famed globally for its massive surf waves. There, you’ll enjoy a break, letting you savor traditional Portuguese cuisine. Your final stop is the historic village of Obidos, nestled within a castle’s walls. Its narrow, cobblestone pathways and homes adorned with flowers resemble a scene from a fairytale. Here, you will also have the opportunity to sample a renowned cherry liqueur, served in a chocolate cup, known as ginja.

Fabulous Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. - Fabulous day with Diogo (spelling?) our tour guide. So passionate and knowledgeable regarding all parts of Portugal but especially the amazing Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. A day packed with many sights and a very comfortable minivan. Lunch in Nazare was fabulous which all the group joined together as many restaurants closed on the day. Highly recommend this tour and you would be so lucky to have our guide.

Great tour! - The tour was amazing! It is a long day so be ready for that.
Our tour guide, Diogo, was very knowledgeable and made this experience truly memorable. He’s great! The sites were beautiful, the lunch recommendation was fantastic and we had some laughs on the way.

Great English, great sense of humor , entertaining and personable. She made a point of remembering everyone’s nome in our group , engaging everyone in conversation . Great stories about every stop. Couldn’t have imagined a better tour,
To top it off , the next day I realized I left a jacket in the tour van and they came and dropped it off at our hotel !!!!

Pleasant day out of Lisbon seeing a bit of the Portuguese countryside. - Lilyana was an exceptional guide - enthusiastic and full of knowledge about her country. No waves at Nazare, but it was apparently the wrong season. A nice relaxing way to see a bit of the countryside. Obidos is a very pretty old town.
