Join us on this expedition where we reveal some of the principal landmarks of the city. The journey starts with a pick-up at your hotel followed by a visit to Belem, where we first gaze upon the Belem Tower (from outside only). We then proceed to the monument dedicated to the explorers. Upon understanding the map and the personalities depicted, we delve into the advancement of the Portuguese explorations in the 1400’s. Next, we navigate towards the Monastery of St. Jerome to tour the church, ending the first segment of our journey. The cruise moves on to the historic center of Lisbon, pausing for a photo opportunity on the pink street. We then delve deep into the core of the city, commencing with a leisurely walk in the downtown area and traversing the main squares (Restauradores, Rossio, Augusta Street and Trade Square). The final stretch of our expedition leaves Alfama as the sun begins to retreat. As we ascend uphill, taking in the Cathedral, we pause at the Miradouro de Sta. Luzia and Miradouro de Nossa Senhora do Monte, where our journey concludes. We then return back to the hotel.
