Highlights

If you are looking for an easy, fun and convenient way to see Lisbon, an electric bike is what you need!

Visit the city’s highlights that aren’t accessible by car on an easy and enjoyable ride through Lisbon. No experience is necessary – riding an electric bike is just like using a normal bike, with a few advantages!
The bike is fitted with a battery, which means you can use the bike’s power to go up hills or when you get tired by simply turning on the power on the handlebars. You will receive a briefing on how to use it in the shop, as well as a helmet for your safety while riding.

With your map of Lisbon (provided at the rental shop), cycle along the Avenida da Liberdade (Liberdade Avenue).

** Here, you’ll see the Eden Theatre, which is one of the best examples of Portuguese Art Deco, and the 18th-century Foz Palace. Reach the top of Eduardo VII Park and take in panoramic views of Lisbon. Later, enjoy comparable scenic views at St George Castle, located on another hill in central Lisbon.

** Ride by Rossio Square, the heart of old and new Lisbon paved with typical Portuguese wave-shaped cobblestones. Visit Restauradores Square, Rossio Central Station, and the beautiful Carmo Square.

** Cycle around the Moorish quarter of Alfama, the birthplace of Fado – Portugal’s own musical genre featured in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Witness how life flows in the narrow cobbled streets lined with quaint houses. Visit Sé de Lisboa Cathedral, the city’s oldest church, and continue through the elegant Chiado neighborhood, with its charming cafés, boutiques, theaters and bookstores, and the Baixa district.

** Ride your electric bike around the historic district of Belem, by the waterfront, and cycle past the 16th-century Tower of Belem and Jerónimos Monastery, two great examples of Manueline art.

This independent electric bike tour and rental gives you all the freedom and flexibility you need for an unforgettable Lisbon adventure!

Great fun! - The meeting point was easy to find and staff very helpful. They had our reservation and got us our gear quickly. Showed us the best route on the map and also recommended sites and restaurants in that area. We went to Belém which was a perfect tour. There is a bike path most of the way. Great activity to beat the heat. Thank you!

Great Experience with Bike Rental - We had a great experience. The price was reasonable. The bikes were pretty new and in great shape. We were cruising and the rental location was an easy walk from port. Gve (I think that was his name) was great help! He was very kind and gave excellent service and also recommendations on where to ride.

Great tour! - I had a fantastic e-bike tour along the Lisbon waterfront with my family of four and one additional person. Our tour guide, Peter, was truly amazing. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience memorable for all of us. The scenic route combined with Peter's insightful commentary created a perfect blend of fun and education. Highly recommend this tour for a delightful family outing!

leisurely tour - The e-bike tour is fun in itself and is recommended because you see a lot that you wouldn't otherwise be able to see. This provider is the one to choose if you are not too interested in the content/history 😉 Our two tour guides were friendly and helpful.

Lisbon City Centre not cycling friendly - We rented two electric bikes in order to explore Lisbon. I would not recommend doing this, it is not a bike friendly city. There are no, no car zones which make it safe and in addition to it being very busy with traffic all day until the late evening you have the extra hazard of the tram lines to derail your bike. The bikes cut out and unfortunately we were not shown the location of the main button to switch them back on, we hadn’t used an electric bike before and more used to mountain biking the cycle paths and roads of our home location in rural Wales. We ditched the bikes and walked around, took the bus and metro and had a more enjoyable afternoon. The people in the bike shop were friendly but it’s not in a great location of a busy narrow one way street. If you are going to rent bikes on order to get out of the city I’m sure you will have a much better experience.

sad story - so I made the booking on the 25th of December, paid for the rent of two bikes, to surprise my friend. I paid for uber aswell to get me to pick up place on time. When I have reached the bike rent, I have been explained they will not give me the bikes because they close at 1pm. I have been told that my registration somehow slipped through system, which should not happen.{I have paid 2 bikes for 4 hours. } When I asked them for cancelation, they told me they cannot do that eiter. Well, what to say.
