- Largo do Carmo - The Largo do Carmo is one of the most beautiful squares in Lisbon. You’ll learn a lot about the 1755 earthquake (the Carmo church is since that time a ruin), about the aqueduct system and all the fountains and galleries we have in Lisbon or about the 1974 democratic revolution (the last Portuguese dictator was arrested here). You’ll have the opportunity to visit the neo-gothic Elevador de Santa Justa (built-in 1902) and to enjoy beautiful views.

Great private tour! - Wonderful day exploring with Tanya. She’s passionate about her city and a wealth of information! The van was very comfortable and the stops were perfect for what we were looking for! Only had a short period of time and this fit the bill to introduce us to a fascinating city. We will be back!

The Family Tour - Carolina gave our family a tour of Lisbon our first full day there on December 28th. Carolina was such a joy! We had such a wonderfal time with her, and seeing the beautiful city of Lisbon, we invited her to lunch. She picked one of her favorite places - Zé da Mouraria 2 - where we had a traditional and delicious Portuguese meal and wine. We hated when our time with Carolina came to an end. We chose Lisbon Riders because it was highly recommended by a friend, and we weren't disappointed. Thank you Lisbon Riders, and thank you Carolina!!

Wonderful tour with Tania - We had a great day with Tania, who was outstanding in sharing the charm and history of Lisbon. She had as much energy and enthusiasm at the end as she did when she met us. We had 4 couples for a 5 hour tour on a beautiful day. It was a great way to get an overview of this beautiful city.

Best tour guide ever! - Tonya was TERRIFIC! We learned so much from her. She made sure she accommodated our walking limitations while seeing all of the sites listed on the tour. This is the only tour group you need to use!

Best tour of our trip! - Thank you for the AMAZING private tour in Lisbon! Our group of four had a great time and Tania was incredible. The area was super busy preparing for the Pope's visit but she maneuvered us around like a champ even when parking was scarce! We learned SO many interesting facts and we had such a great time that I would even book this exact tour again. I think the value for the money for the day was fantastic! Truly top notch tour!

Fantastic tour of Lisbon - Our guide, Tania, was incredible! She toured us all around Lisbon teaching us so much history. I could tell how much she loves Lisbon, which made us love Lisbon too!! We had a great combination of walking and driving, and we saw so much. She even gave me tips on driving and my tour of Peña Palace. I’m so grateful to Lisbon Riders for an incredible experience we will never forget!
