Best tour of the city-Miguel is an excellent guide! - Had the PLEASURE of Miguel as a guide for a private half-day tuk tuk tour through Lisbon. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon, and the role Portugal played historically in the exploration of the world. In addition to the typical tourist spots, he also showed us off-the-beaten-path spots, and pointed out great restaurants and locals-only kind of places. He even stood in line for 20 minutes at Pasteis de Belem so we could explore the area--and then he brought us warm pastries that were delicious! He also customized the tour to include stops we wanted to see and dropped us off where we wanted to be dropped off. Spending the first day in Lisbon with Miguel as a tour guide gave me a real sense of the city and I was able to make my way through the city without problems because he'd given me such a good understanding of the neighborhoods and the landmarks. Fun Tuk Tuk tour - Mariana was friendly and did a great job touring us around. She was careful while driving and gave us a lot of historical information. We had a great time.

Fabulous Tuk Tuk tour with tour guide Marta. - My mom, who is 80, and I did a 3 hour private tour through the city on Eco Tours private Tuk Tuk tour. We have been traveling through Spain and Portugal, and this was the best tour we both experienced for our entire trip. Our driver Marta was fantastic. She is a true historian and relate happened in the city over the years to what is currently happening today flawlessly. The tour was fun. It was highly interactive, and her love of the city was apparent. Ask for Marta - she is excellent, funny, and a truly kind person.

Magnificent Views - Magnificent Views! Cobblestone roads make for a bumpy ride, but not any less bumpy with a taxi. Love the tuk tuk experience. Joao (JF) had great English was super knowledgeable about Lisbon and Portugal and even gave us tips on other “attractions” to visit. Wonderful host!
