Great Experience! - This was a great experience. We booked this tour/transfer from Lisbon to Porto instead of taking the train and to avoid hassles with luggage and transfers. Our driver, Mario was perfect! He was there waiting for us early and saw to every detail so that we had a flawless experience. His English is fluent and his personality is easy and relaxed, yet enthusiastic and knowledgeable about this beautiful country and it’s history. He made the trip interesting and easy. The drive was very scenic and we stopped at a wonderful restaurant for lunch (Panageia in Navare/ seaside town). Mario gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit and dine in Porto, and so far all have been genuinely terrific! This was a great way to travel from Lisbon to Porto and Mario was a fantastic guide.

Lisbon to Porto - This tour (with private drive from Lisbon to Porto) was beyond outstanding plus. All pre communication with Wonder was thorough, thoughtful, professional and timely. Our guide, Vasco, was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, very considerate, affable, always asking as to status / thoughts / needs, and beyond fun / enjoyable - a tremendous thoughtful and caring personality. He is a consummate talented customer service professional with knowledge, insight and thoughtfulness. On the drive he gave continuous information regards the region and history, plus general Portugal information and life that was very insightful and interesting. Our tour of beautiful Obidos (including a private stop at a family related farm store with a tasting and great conversation / history), then Nazare (upper and lower areas, with an exceptional lunch), then a side trip to Betalia to see the cathedral, then Coimbra (university area), another side trip to see some roman ruins, then picturesque Averio (with an unexpected and very thoughtful gift of a boat ride for our 45th anniversary). We visited all the key areas and he allowed appropriate time, with back and forth questions and follow up, plus lingering as needed and inquiring as to status / needs. / food / rest. Great information and conversation throughout the tour. Vasco is a talent - he will not disappoint - a soulful personality with substance and charm who sincerely cares, shows concern, has a huge heart with a kind soul . Vasco is a 10++. Nick and Patricia

Excellent driver/tour guide - We had an amazing trip from Lisbon to Porto! Our driver, Joao, was so kind, helpful and gregarious he made us quite comfortable. We had 4 stops and he would give us background about the location and would allow us extra time to explore and see the sights! He even showed us additional places that were not on the schedule. He went over the scheduled time for the tour so that we didn’t have to rush through anything. He even gave us tips and suggestions if places to eat and see while in Porto. He was excellent! If/when we go back, I’ll ask for João!

Fantastic drive with 3 stops from Lisbon to Porto - Mario is a great driver and very knowledgeable, He let us relax and really enjoy the drive. It was wonderful to stop along the way and we had plenty of free time to explore the stops at our leisure. Nothing was a problem and I would highly recommend this trip and it is a great way to explore more of Portugal.

The best tour ever! - I can only say good things about this company. The experience was very good, we traveled peacefully and were treated well by the driver. We did the Douro tour with them, came from Oporto to Lisbon with 2 stops and returned again from Lisbon to Oporto with 1 stop, as our flight left from Oporto. We felt we got the most out of every trip and it was superbly organized! Thanks WONDERS TOURS!

Best time with Wonders Tours! - We had the best day ever with Wonders Tours. Mario was an amazing driver. He took us to Obidos, Nazares, and Coimbra. The car was comfortable and the conversation was great. Mario never rushed us. He told us what to look at at each stop and was easy to communicate with. This tour group is the way to go!

Great time, great value - Our driver/guide Joao was great, and told us a lot during our full-day trip. We actually stopped at one extra location at his urging. He was very patient and gave us all the time we needed to see the sights at each stop. Highly recommended.
