Portuguese for a Day - Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. She was engaging and very knowledgeable. Sintra and the Pena Palace were beautiful as was Quinta da Regaleira. Filipa had many great stories and recommendations. Pre-bought tickets and early pick up meant we were not waiting in big line-ups. Highly recommend this tour and tour company to those visiting the area.

Delightful tour - Every moment was expertly planned. The weather was bad- but the trip was still perfect. Filippa was the safest driver I've ever toured with. Her knowledge of Sintra and the surrounding area got us around efficiently in a crowd. She also directed us to the best food in town. Awesome tour.

Best tour guide…ever! - Andre, who owns this tour company, was the best tour guide my wife and I have ever had and we’ve done over 50 Viator tours. We beat the crowds early and that made a big difference. He also made lunch reservations in Sintra at a tapas place, and we walked past a line to get there, only portion we could have lived without was the farthest point west marker, but no biggie. Book this one!

AMAZING tour of Sintra with André - André was an amazing tour guide and made this day so special ! He was incredibly kind and funny . His knowledge of Portuguese history is incredible and he was able to answer each one of our questions. We are very thankful that he was our guide because this trip will be unforgettable because of him. We were able to get into the palaces before most of the crowds got there which was a great addition to this tour.

Sinatra & area - We toured Sinatra and the area with a small group. Our guide Filipa was interesting and informative. She always made sure we were in the right place at the right time. For example even though we met early to head to Sinatra, we were one of the 1st groups of the day to tour the palace, no lines, no waiting, it was well worth it. And it made the rest of the day even better. We would recommend it highly. thanks for a great day.

We Loved Portuguese for a Day Tours!!!! - Great experience with Portuguese For a Day Tours with Andre as our guide! It was a rainy, cold, misty day for our tour but thankfully Andre provided us with rain coats and umbrellas. We were the first in line and got to see Pena Palace without crowds thanks to his plan. It was so helpful that tickets were included in the price. The Regaleria was our favorite part, very cool experience. Andre explained everything to us before we went in so we knew what we were looking at. When we got to the town of Sintra he had made reservations for each couple in an authentic Portuguese tapas restaurant which was delicious. He guided us where to get traditional pastries as well! He was so passionate about Portuguese culture and was a wealth of knowledge on any topic we asked about. From historical information to present day! If you don’t choose this tour, pick another one from Portuguese for a Day company it was amazing!

Great experience, small group - We chose this tour because tickets were included, unlike many others. It was definitely worth it, we arrived at Pena palace for the first time slot of the day and we could see it was getting much more crowded as we were leaving. Andre was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable.

Booked early morning... - Booked early morning start. A definite must. A little misty and damp, but photos and visit were excellent. Tool guide was excellent and would recommend to anyone.
