Enjoyed this trip - Very interesting tour at first winery, it's been established for a long time so lots of historical info and huge barrel storage areas. You can smell the aroma all around you. Then a lunch stop at Sesimbra which was a lovely little town with lots of places to eat and shops to potter round. Final stop was at a family run vineyard on a large property with animals and vineyards around it. Plenty of wine to taste and very reasonable prices here - more expensive at the first stop. Final stop at statue of Jesus Christ and view of the bridge, plus view of Lisbon which was lovely. Mar was an excellent guide and very cheerful.

Great time, great wine - Omg Joao was so charismatic, friendly, and funny! He took us to quite a few pit stops, and gave us a lot of insight into historical facts, and made great conversation on the way to our destinations and during the wine tastings. I would definitely recommend this tour, and hopefully you’ll get Joao as a tour guide!

A Beautiful Day - This was such a wonderful day! Our guide Pedro was funny and very knowledgeable about Lisbon/Portugal and wines! We enjoyed the stop at the castle in Palmela, the drive through Arrabida and the stop for lunch in Sesimbra. Pedra Alta was a fantastic recommendation for lunch — fresh sea bass! The vineyards that we visited were lovely and the wines very good. I think Portuguese wine is now my favorite!! And finally, the stop across the river at the Christo Rei statue was much appreciated. The views of Lisbon are the best from there.

Good varied day in outback’s of Lisbon - The visit to the first winery very very enlightening. The Gregorian music for the wine in the cellar was very interesting. The second winery….not so good. Understand why they don’t sell out of the vineyard. Chateau cardboard comes to mind. Keeping animals as they have in captivity not my cup of tea. Release them…they need to wild. Great trip with view of the 25 April bridge and Christ the redeemer statue. Then home. Good trip except for the second vineyard….give it a miss .

Excellent tour - My friends and I booked this tour of the south bank regions of the river with wine tasting trip with Inside Lisbon Tours and we were very happy with it - visited castles, beaches and two vineyards. Tony was an excellent tour guide and is a human walking encyclopaedia! We learnt a lot about Portugal and got to view and appreciate its beauty. Thank you very much! Excellent tour.

Relaxing and Enjoyable Day - A lovely day, our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. Saw a lot of beautiful scenery and visited two wineries with great tastings. Tour at JKF was very interesting and Quinta de Alcube was an amazing little winery. Very much recommend to get out of the city and enjoy some local wines.
