Amazing experience - This tour was one of the top 5 things we did during our month in Africa. I really did not know what to expect but it exceeded my expectations all the way. It is a completely submersive experience. I love that this tour is there and it’s definitely a hidden gem for people wanting to try something a little different. I wish I would have brought more water and some snacks and goodies to pass out to some of the people I’d encountered on the journey.

Amazing off the tourist track experience! - This was one of our favorite experiences in the 6 weeks we’ve spent in Africa. Rather than recycling the same tourist trap experiences this adventure takes you into real African villages. Plan on spending 3 hours on a bike and most importantly…. bring plenty of water! , However, as our guide said, “This isn’t the Tour De France!” The pace is leisurely and quite enjoyable. Wezi was a fantastic guide and showed us where locals work, sleep, shop and learn. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a little exercise and wants to learn more about the real Africa!

Enlightening and rewarding tour - What a nice experience! Wezi guided us through many places like school, villages, quarry, market, explaining clearly about it, helping us understand better how people live around Livingstone. I highly recommend this tour.

Best way to appreciate Zambian culture - This was by far the best way to be able to see, understand and enjoy the Zambian culture by riding past peoples’ homes! Our tour guide was amazing and we learned so much about the people there by watching but also through our guide.

Book now!! - The cultural bike tour was absolutely fantastic! We loved every part of it and felt like we could have a good glimpse of typical Zambian life, something we could definitely not experience without this tour and our two wonderful guides, Eustace and Soang. This should be on your list when visiting Livingstone! We also had the amazing opportunity to go try traditionnal Zambian food at a local women’s house for dinner - best experience ever.

Say hello to the people - We did some very memorable things on our visit to Livingstone and the bike tour was up among them. You will see dozens of people cycling too and from the Zimbabwe border laden with goods and this cycling tour puts you for a moment in solidarity with them We visited villages where life is hard and we’re struck by the dignity and peaceful spirit of the people.Materially poor, there does seem to be a happiness , an enthusiasm and a Grace in the way we are welcomed Wazey who guided us was local, a product of the local school that we visited and he was well informed, engaging, and well connected The visit to the market and his explanation of how it worked was very interesting Fresh Good that we don’t recognise, dry goods, small scale manufacture of maize flour and peanut butter, the live market and the fish market all evolved to keep life moving If you get a chance. Drag yourself away from the pool , the river, the wildlife and say hello to the people You will be glad you did

Interesting insight into the African way of life - It was a great insight into real life in Africa. As a tourist you usually only get a glimpse of the sights and the hotel. Here you get an insight when the employees drive home. The guides Songiso and Justice spoke good and clear English, which meant we understood them well. The bikes were OK and took us to 2 villages. One village with water and electricity, one village with only a central water point and hardly any electricity. The children were happy and kept waving. The "quarry" was also very interesting. There people were crushing stones with a hammer in the heat. Really hard work, respect!! At the end we went to "Big Mama", a local who makes juices from tamarind, hibiscus and baobab and offers regional cooking. The walk through a market gave another interesting insight. A great tour!!!! Info: The free transfer is only available directly from Livingstone. Since we came from VicFalls, we were picked up at the Zambian border by car, which cost 20 dollars round trip.
