Additional Information

Experience the finest gifts of Slovenia’s nature throughout your day. Our journey will gradually lead us to the summit of Vršič pass, standing at an elevation of 1661 m, offering an exquisite photo opportunity. On descending, we will reach the Valley, home to the source of one of the most scenic rivers.
The Julian Alps’ silvery summits bear an inseparable link to the tragic history of World War I. This was the location of the Isonzo front – a dangerous high-altitude mountainous warfare with unbearable living conditions. Signs of the battle are still visible. Following will be a visit to Slovenia’s largest waterfall. The Boka waterfall, with a height of 106 and width of 18, is bound to leave you in awe. Post a traditional meal at a local eatery, we will proceed towards Ljubljana, taking a halt at Kranjska Gora – the largest alpine resort in Slovenia. It hosts our premier alpine skiing race – the Vitranc cup. It’s a perfect spot for a stroll and discovering your tranquility.

Great - Great excursion with a perfect Guide. The trip is by 8 seater van. It is worth travelling along the winding roads of the mountain like this. Even though I was “English speaking” I didn’t struggle to understand most of it. The excursion , well deserved, the scenery, the river, the views... important to carry swimming trunks in your backpack to refresh you, in several stops gives time.

nice introduction to Slovenia's Alpine region - The tour covered a lot of beautiful scenery and picture spots in the Soca Valley and Kranska Gora areas. It was very hot that day, but the guide/ driver, Vasco, stopped at a lot of viewpoints and waterfalls, and we were able to even have time for a relaxed lunch and wade in one of the (very cold, but nice because it was SO HOT) streams in the mountains. It was a great introduction to the Julian Alps area of Slovenia, which was so different from the other areas we visited like Bled. Vasco provided a good amount of information about the region and Slovenia in general. We would like to return to the Alpine area in the future for a more extended period of time to do more outdoor activities. This tour really was a nice introduction to the highlights of the area!

Memorable experience! - Our tour guide was Damijan. The day started with a very warm welcome, smile and positive vibes! During the trip he was gradually providing very interesting and insightful information about different subjects regarding Slovenia…from history to sports and many more! ..without being pretentious or tiring and with a great sense of humor! The day was just flowing smoothly and pleasantly and in combination with the scenic views, hidden gems and breathtaking nature spots it ended up being a unique and memorable experience that I would strongly recommend to everyone! Well done and thanks a lot for adding more beautiful and sweet memories in my life! 🙏🏻 Until next time 😉

soča valley - Fantastic experience, as Rok (our guide) said most people do the main things and this one is like a last resort if you have time left. It was one of the best days we had though, definitely equal to the more touristy places like bled and the caves. The day really was made by our guide Rok though, he’s a font of knowledge and really genuine and fascinating guy, just his character made it our favourite day in Slovenia, and it had some competition. Would highly recommend!

Truely one of the most beautiful tours! - What an amazing tour! Beautiful scenery and the guide, Maya, was so knowledgable. She took us to see waterfalls, rivers, and mountains. We ate at a traditional Slovenian restaurant for lunch. A perfect combination of sightseeing by van and outside time.

Wonderful views accompanied by an informative guide - Our guide was very informative and shared a lot of local knowledge with us. We enjoyed the stunning scenery of the Soca River and Julian Alps and learned a lot from our guide! However, I would like to mention before the trip To Do in Slovenia asked us to pay more to include caves in our itinerary which we didn’t intend to do in this trip and felt a bit uneasy why they were asking for more money. We were worried if our trip would be canceled. The trip was not canceled and it turned out to be a great day!

A must do! - Absolutely enjoyed this tour! You get to experience some of the natural beauty that Slovenia has to offers. You get to do mini treks to waterfalls, view clear pristine rivers and gorges, as well as scenic mountain views. We also did one stop where we took sips of water from the Soça river. Another unique experience of this tour was the train ride because, the tour van rides on the train. Our guide Primož was wonderful throughout, sharing his knowledge of Slovenia and info related to the tour. It was a truly memorable experience. Thank you! 😁

Amazing day and unforgettable views - The tour was AMAZING. I spent an unforgettable day (the best one during my stay in Slovenia) and it was all thanks to Bojana, our guide, a great group of travellers from all corners of the world and breathtaking views of Slovenia. If I were to come back to Slovenia for one day only, there’s nothing else I would do but this tour!
