A unique place - Free, like all public museums in London, the Tate Modern offers beautiful works of contemporary art. There is plenty to spend several hours there. Too bad there is no effective audio guide that would help with walking.

Disappointing for the amount of money - Incredibly disappointing experience. Only 2 infinity rooms in which you could only stay for 2 min each, groups were of 4+ people so any picture you take you have other people in it. Incredibly underwealming.

Mind-boggling why it's a thing - Too many people. I had been years ago and it was never like it was this time. 2 out of 4 lifts working. 2 out of 4 toilets usable and 4 cubicles per floor. Moving on to the cafe, that was of course busy, and mediocre drinks for the price. Elevated prices are expected, but then I'd expect elevated customer service as well - the whole thing. I think Tate Modern is a must-do, once and once only.
