Highlights
  • Bronson Caves - These manmade caves have made appearances in several notable films and TV series. The most well-known? The original “Batman” series.
  • Hollywood Sign - With a name like “Hollywood Sign Hiking Tour”, you know you’re going to get views of the iconic landmark. On this hiking tour, you’ll gain several views and photo ops of the famous Hollywood Sign and the LA city skyline below.
  • Griffith Observatory - Griffith Park and Observatory was named for Colonel Griffith J. Griffith (yes, really). Griffith was quite an interesting character, having included “Colonel” in his own name, with no proof of military service. He made his wealth in the gold mines, and bought the land that now holds the park that bears his name. One failed ostrich farm later, Griffith gifted the land to the city, with the stipulation that it be used as a place of recreation for the masses.

Finally visit the worldfamous Hollywood Hill - What you've seen on TV nvin movies for 50 years since 1972 we have visited for real. It was a great experience driving through the small lanes in the mountain watching house fathers washing their cars or having a neighbours chit chat n being friendly to us. When I walked there up the hill a plot was coming up in my mind about criminal kidnappers who penetrated into a neighbours house terrorizing a family and negotiating with the police or get a safe-conduct with ransom to flee the bad situation. The famous 9 white letters were big and in the background of our pictures. Pity it couldn't glow in the dark cause it was not illuminated. Nice to finally have seen this.
