Don’t bother - Note we did 2 day hop on hop off city sightseeing tour. The ticket included shuttle to our hotel which was near universal. We did not get a tour of universal. We used big bus tours in San Francisco. City sightseeing in Los Angeles. There was a significant difference between the two. 1. Frequency of buses. Big bus every 15 mins vs city sightseeing every 1 to 2 hours 2. How late they went. Big bus into early evening vs city sightseeing into mid afternoon 3. Quality of broadcast. Big bus relevant for all vs city sightseeing really out of date. I’m 51 and remembered some of the actor references. My teenage kids knew none of them. Classic line being “Shirley temple won an Oscar in 1934.., … still regarded by most as the greatest child actor”. This is 90 years ago. I’d be surprised if any of your clients have watched a film with Shirley temple in it. 4. Tech. Big bus has an app tracking all their buses. You can see when they will arrive at your stop. City has no app and they don’t run to timetable. 5. Hop on hop off. Big bus is genuine hop on hop off. Frequent buses and sufficient space to accommodate. City sightseeing was not. We had a two day ticket. Both days once we hopped off we could not hop back on. First day because the buses finish so early and second day despite hopping off a double decker, the hop on return which we waited 15 mins beyond the schedule for was a mini bus with only 1 seat. The next bus was due in 1hr 20. And we had already done our fill of dtla. Metro return. In effect we paid $288 for poor public transport. Plus another ~$50 to get back.
