Best time nicest people - This was a great time for the 5 of us. My husband and I took our adult children for a ride it was thrilling to say the least. I road behind my husband and got to enjoy the scenery They first take you on a hour bus ride along the coast and you land up on a private ranch. All the equipment was given out and safety instructions explained. After a fun ride we all had a lovely authentic Mexican meal with tequila. The staff couldn’t be nicer. I’d recommend this to teenagers young adults and old adults who are active. This is a new trip I hope it continues

You ride an ATV through sand which requires a bit of strength and along a beach. Even got to see a whale while riding along the beach. Hotel pick and drop off was reliable. Tour starts off at busy ATV shop and ends there as well - recommend the nachos and beer while waiting for ride to pick you up to take back to hotel. Also get to take pictures with birds and reptiles prior to ATV ride.

This was a great tour!! Our group of... -
This was a great tour!! Our group of 3 had taken two reservations, one for the ATV Single Rider Tour and one for the ATV double rider.
Both worked out great!! The pick-up from out hotel, the Pueblo Bonito Rose, was right on time. The drive to the ATV tour area,
operated by Cactus ATV tours, was about 30-mins. We checked in, deposited our items in the locker which was free, and put on our equipment, mainly the helmet, goggles and a bandana. Only item to think about is whether you want to get the insurance, which turned
out to be about 25 for the single-rider ATV and 35 for the double-rider. Out tour guide was Javier, who turned out to be fantastic.
He spoke very good english and patiently walked us through the instructions to operate the ATV and also helped each one of us with
adjusting our helmets, goggles and bandana. Once the instructions were done, we were off. There were 7 of us in our tour with Javier leading the way. The actual ATV tracks ran through different terrains which were all mostly flat except for a few which had slight inclines.
There were a couple of water breaks. The final segment, for about 20 mins, was on the beach and was really good. The drop-off to our
hotel also went without a hitch. All in all a great tour, operated very well by Cactus ATV tours, and a fantastic tour guide.

The downside to this tour is the hidden costs. Viator says that there will be a 15 park fee upon arrival. Not sure why this is not part of the tour cost, and frankly I don't understand what it is for. Now comes the add-ons. There is a hard sale on getting insurance....one of two levels, 25/person or 40/person. You can choose nothing, but we are convinced then you would get a bill for damages at tour end. This is a real rip-off. Viator should tell customers this before you get there. Then, of course, there is the 5 bandana. Nice souvenir, but your only other choice is a used washed bandana. At the end of the tour is a tequila tasting. The tequila is quite good El Secreto and worth buying a bottle, even though it can be expensive.

Hidden Fees - I wasn’t at all pleased with the fact that I either had to know how to drive a stick shift to switch gears, or upgrade for $30. I was told about insurance fees AFTER I was on site at the counter which was another fee. Overall, I spent $200 when initially I agreed to spend$105.
