- Cactus Tours - Your tour begins with hotel pickup in San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas. You’ll then head to the Cactus ATV facilities and be greeted by a professional, bilingual staff. You’ll first enjoy a visit of the Aviary (Exotic Bird Sanctuary) and then receive all the necessary equipment including helmets, goggles, bandanas and water. You’ll get a single ATV so you can drive it on your own.
Your guide will give you a safety briefing and explanation of the activities during the tour and then the adventure begins. You will start driving your ATV and following your guide, exploring mountains, streams and canyons. Ray is the best guide - He was an AMAZING tour guide. It was my first time riding an ATV, but I did have a little experience with one before. He helped everyone out and made it an exciting experience. Especially, when he offered to go faster, it made the experience 10x more thrilling

Cactus Tour ATV activity - Cactus tour didn’t disappoint. The tour shuttle arrived at the hotel at the prescribed time. The shuttle van was clean and well maintained. The ATV tour was in a small group and our tour guide Alexis Molina was very professional through the entire tour. We had two adults and 3 teenagers and all had lots of fun. Would definitely try this activity again.

Super fun!! - Amahl was so nice and fun. We had a great time. WE WENT TO BEAUTIFUL BEACHES. THERE WHERE DOME GREAT VIEWS! We recomend this so much.

Definitely worth the cost - Amazing once in a lifetime experience, and our tour guide Noel was very helpful! Our tour guide really helped in making sure we were safe and reassured us along the way.

Amazing ATV tour - We had an amazing tour. We were originally doing the Razor group tour and upgraded to a private guided Can-Am two person ATV tour. It was worth the extra money. Our private guide, Gilberto, was fabulous. He was attentive and helpful and ensured we had a fabulous time. We highly recommend this private tour and Gilberto if he is available. We were able to go faster than with a group. Great day and a highlight of our trip!

Misleading - The cost of the tour is misleading. They don’t tell you in advance that you have to pay for an upgrade to drive an automatic ATV. They also don’t allow you to purchase single photos. They want you to purchase the entire package. However, the tour guide Diego was AMAZING!! He gets a 10/10! I wouldn’t recommend Cactus Tours to anyone though!

It was cool because of Diego! - Diego was a greatl guide. He made up for the girl who checked us in. She was rude and condescending. From that we waited 45 mins to be told that we had to wait another 6 mins for more people to join us that didn’t come. Since it was a vacation, we were looking to upgrade but the experience at check-in and the 51 min wait for a 1.2 hr tour and the ghost group was enough to stick to the basics. If it wasn’t for Diego and his personality and being down to earth. This would be a total bad review. Great job, Diego. We appreciate you.

Fun tour with hidden fees - I will say that the excursion was fun and our tour guide was great. However, the additional hidden fees are ridiculous. If you can’t drive a clutch you have to upgrade your atv, which was an additional $50 on top of the $25pp to get in. Then, you had to pay for face covering to go under your helmet to not breathe in any dust, that was $10 each. It stated that water would be provided but you had to pay for it at the break or be thirsty. No one was told that at the beginning because they made everyone put everything in their lockers. My boyfriend and I ended up spending another $200 on top of the $150 that was already paid.

Pack Your Patience and Wallet - While the ATVing was fun, much about this experience was frustrating. Our reservation was for 11, planning it to fit in comfortably with evening activities. By the time we checked in and then waited for our assigned guide, we didn't actually leave until 12:15. Thankfully we brought face coverings, or we would have had to pay for them. Halfway through the riding, we stopped at a rest area that has snacks and drinks. The description of the excursion states water is provided. The break would be a great time to provide that but no, you needed to purchase it. We were told the free water was at the main building, but we couldn't get it there either. Between the rest break, one of the ATVs breaking down, and another getting stuck, total riding time was 60 minutes. Not worth it.
