Bulgaria’s natural splendor is multifaceted. Its diverse environment provides a plethora of adventure opportunities, encompassing captivating mountains, picturesque vistas, and stunning coastlines. Much of its overwhelming beauty, however, lies concealed in a fantastical subterranean realm.
In this caving expedition, we will journey through three of the most celebrated and intriguing subterranean gems of Bulgaria - Saeva Dupka, Prohodna Cave (also known as The Eyes of God), and Devetashka Cave.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Difficulty level: Moderate
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities
- Sandals and flips-flops are not permitted on this tour
- We understand your concerns in relation to COVID 19, therefore we’ve taken the needed measures for you to feel safe. All our guides and drivers go through regular medical checks, wear masks during the tours and in each vehicle, we have a disinfectant spray. Furthermore due to the situation nowadays we organize tours only for small groups (up to 7 persons) and we have the option for private tours.

Incredible - What an amazing tour!
The caves are incredible!
It is a day long trip, but totally worth it!
Also the tourguide Daniël was a really nice guy and told the interrasting story a long the way.
And for lunch he tooks to a real Balkan restaurant with enough to choose from!
100% can reccomend this trip!

Beauty and Awe - We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Laura. The caves are absolutely stunning. Not only did we see all 3 stunning caves but Laura was very knowledgeable about the area and even just Bulgarian culture. I would highly recommend d this tour to anyone considering it!

3 caves with Ilian - The tour of the 3 caves is well organized and very interesting. All 3 caves (Saeva dupka, Prohodna and Devetashka are WONDERFUL, really suggestive and special, definitely above expectations. Our Guide was Ilian, very knowledgeable and helpful. Recommendation to everyone this excursion!

Very nice place - Easy access, well indicated. Beautiful place to see, with impossible cart, better with backpack the child. The only thing I didn't like was the dirt on the site, full of papers, plastic bottles. Quiet place to reflect and very nice to photograph.

Fantastic day! - I met a very nice group of strangers, and we all explored the caves together with our guide, Rosin. He was very knowledgeable and he made it a very fun experience for our group.

Must do in Bulgaria - It was a very interesting day where we visited 3 beautiful and very different caves. Our guide was exceptional and the fact that she is studying archeology made the tour even more interesting. Highly recommended

Outrages price and punishment of the "solo" travelers! - The caves were spectacular but the driver/guide wasn't!
Moreover, going solo I paid double, even tough there were 7 of us-a price that should be taken only if you are the only traveler that day.
To sum up:
The scenary gets 10/10.
The price+ the driver get 2/10

Very nice places but average guide - Date of excursion: 14/07/2024
We saw 4 places: the cave of Saeva Dupka, Devetashka, Prohodna and the waterfall of Krushuna which was not on the program. The places were all very beautiful and we put 5 stars for the places. On the other hand, the big blackout of our visit was our guide. Indeed, he did not know the places he was showing us. He stopped several times to ask people his way and the explanations provided were unclear. He even told us that he discovered the place at the same time as us which is very average for a guide.

Beautiful but way to expensive - Nice trip but unfortunately heavily overpriced.. especially if you're only booking for one person. It was stunning but not really worth the money I feel. I guess the last cave could also be skipped and the price and time decreased therefore. Especially as the entrance fees are so small..
