DO IT! - If you like to learn, eat, hangout with great people and see BEAUTIFUL views.. do this tour! WOW! What a day. Picked up from my AIRBNB in an AC bus. Gisele, our guide, was so kind and knowledgeable. The airboat ride was AWESOME! Lil Eric was our captain’s name and he did a phenomenal job getting the gators up to the boat for us to see. He also educated us on a lot of Louisiana nature! Very professional and cool guy. Next was the Laura Plantation. Our guide here was Caroline and while it was her first solo tour, she did great! So much knowledge and history. Then we headed over to get lunch at the Buffet at the Houmas House restaurant. Great food and staff. The Houmas House was more than expected. Our guide was Sammie and she was amazing… she gave such a thorough tour with so much great information and history. This property was breath taking inside and out and I was lucky enough to get to meet the dogs! (If you love dogs, you’ll love Houmas House) Gisele drove us all back to our pickup locations while continuing to tell us SO many great facts and giving us so much knowledge on NOLA. 10/10 from start to finish. Such kind people and I felt so welcomed which was a huge plus as a solo traveler in NOLA for the first time.

A must when you have a day to learn and experience! - Everything about this experience was on point. Our driver was punctual, and extremely educational. The airboat guide was so knowledgeable about the area we cruised, and the species we encountered. The plantations were very enlightening, and they topped everything off with an incredible gourmet lunch of local cuisine! This day long tour was the perfect complement to our New Orleans trip.

Either start your vacation or end your vacation with this !! - My First time ever in New Orleans and this is what I did on my very first day !! We found some Alligators !! He was feeding them marshmallows. It was sooo COOL!!! Then we went to a couple Plantations and just step back in time, and soaked up so much history !!! Then we finished with an awesome lunch. This was just the Perfect way to start my vacation. The driver is from New Orleans so he was fun and knowledgeable, he didnt sound like he was just repeating from a script. Slave quarters in Louisiana - Definitely - it's a trip worth making that you won't forget. Many places, houses, buildings bring back memories of the films that were shot here.

This was Educational & Funn!!! - This was Educational & Funn!!! I tip my hat to ALL the tour guides, were knowledgeable and engaging people. And you can tell these people are actually from right here. The Airboat tour was surprisingly more fun then I assumed it would be. The Plantation experiences were also more then I expected. This is money well spent if this your first time in NOLA.
