After an interpretive hike through natural trails lined with beautiful flora and fauna, some river wading and small climbs, you will arrive at a hidden gem found in the heart of the rainforest. This breathtaking segment of the 29,000-acre forest is like a natural playground. Here you will have the chance to swim in the natural pools, refresh in waterfalls, slide down an exhilarating natural waterslide, rope swing into the river, jump from different rock formations and enjoy fresh local fruit with a view. Along with all of this excitement, you will also have time to simply relax to the sounds of cascading waters and take in the beauty of this very special place.

Experience the beauty of the only tropical rainforest in the USA with less than 30 other guests, which is almost half the number that many other El Yunque tours allow. - Transportation Not Available: Guests must have a Rental Car – No Taxi or Ubers
- Not recommended for travelers with neck, back, arm or leg problems or casts
- Not recommended for travelers with recent surgeries
- Not recommended for travelers who have epilepsy, heart conditions, dizziness or vertigo
- The difficulty level of this excursion is considered to be moderate to strenuous depending on your physical fitness level. It is very important that you are in good physical condition in order to participate and enjoy yourself. The terrain in the rainforest can be muddy, slippery, uneven and include river-wading, climbing large rocks and steep inclines. This excursion is recommended for guests with an active lifestyle
- Minimum age is 8 years old
- Maximum weight limit is 240 lbs
- Maximum age is 70 years old
- NOTE: Saturday’s tour is longer (approximately 1 more hour) and more strenuous than Sunday - Friday. It’s very important that you are able to comply with all of the tour restrictions, have a strong physical fitness level and are able to bring your knees up to your chest.

GUESTS MUST HAVE A RENTAL CAR. Meet at "Frutera Flores" fruit stand in Luquillo. You cannot taxi or Uber to the departure location. Please allow sufficient time driving from San Juan (approx. 1 hr and 15 mins). Parking and rainforest entrance fees are included in the rate.

Seriously Amazing Tour - What was amazing about this tour was that not only did you get to do the natural water slide, but there was also cliff jumping and a rope to swing off of. They also provided fresh fruit while we swam, and then water, beer, and granola afterwards. Our guide, Paola, was seriously awesome. She showed us how to do all the experiences, and as a plus, we got to swim towards the waterfall with her. Overall an incredible and fun experience, especially with friends.

Great for a groups and couples. - This was phenomenal. Laughs, waterslides and great guides will recommend this to everyone I know. Paula and Amauri were so nice helpful and funny.

Adventorous! - This was our first time visiting El Yunque, I can’t think of a better way to have done it. Our tour guides were the nicest and super knowledgable about the rain forest. This tour had everything: culture, history and adventure. Thank you for making this a memorable experience for our family!

El Yunque rainforest hiking/water adventure - Wonderful day in the rain forest! Our guides were very attentive and informative. The company appears to be one of the safer ones as we had helmets, which are essential for some of the activities we did. They took amazing pictures for us, and served us a wonderful snack after the water activities! I would definitely book with them again!

A refreshing family friendly adventure! - Our tour guides were the best!! They were patient and fun!! The paths to get to the waterslide did get a bit tricky to navigate but with the assistance of our guides our entire crew made it through safely. The water was clean and refreshing!

Incredible Experience!! Incredible Guides!! - Danny and Joel were absolutely amazing!! They were so fun, funny, knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. We recommend having them as your guides!! What an experience! So beautiful and lots of fun. I conquered some fears too! What a gorgeous place! We enjoyed meeting Basilios and his wife too. Gracias from my family and me!

An awesome experience - This tour was so worth it! We had an absolute blast!! Our guides were Danny and Rene and they were fabulous. Rene was amazing and even went back to the cliff jump with my daughter so she could try the highest jump a second time and get her picture taken since she did a lower one during the first go around. Very grateful, highly recommend. Also, love they take pictures of the tour! PSA, leave the water bottle in the car. Brought mine with me and lost in in the process and was just getting in the way.

Hike and Swim - The guides were very nice and helpful throughout the hike and swim. However, I do feel the helmets and life vest were a little excessive. It was so warm and humid that at times it felt as if it was hard to breath with the helmet and vest on. I understand the safety aspect to the gear.
The hike was at time a little hard, but doable; There was a 64 year old woman hiking with the group.
Jumping off the cliff was scary, but it HAD to be DONE!
Sliding down the waterslide was so much fun!
Fresh fruit was provided. The best mangos I had ever had!

They were very... - They were very accommodating to fit us in with a group when our scheduled time didn't have enough. It was informative and exciting. I felt as though my safety and welfare were important.
