Greatest tour giude in the greatest of places! - Felipe was AMAZING to put it simply. He kept us engaged and entertained during transit and did an excellent job explaining the surrounding areas and what we were about to experience. He made the museum interactive and really walked us through the history and timeline of the civilization. It was a very warm day in our visit so he thought to stop for water and refreshments prior to walking the ruins and even had the van drive us to certain spots which really helped. Both Felipe and the driver were extremely personable and made the entire experience great! I really learned so much about the history and the people of this great country!

Fantastic tour learning about Lima’s indigenous heritage - My partner and I really enjoyed our morning with Felipe touring Pachacamac. We were in Lima for a short visit and didn’t have enough time to travel to some of the classic historic sites elsewhere in the city, and were glad to find out that one of the most important indigenous archeological sites in Peru is located just outside Lima. Felipe’s passion and knowledge of Peru’s indigenous heritage coupled with his guiding skills really brought the tour to life. Growing up in the US we learn primarily about the Incas, and nothing about the Lima, Wari and Ichma that preceded them around Lima over the previous 1500 years. Visiting Pachacamac with Felipe gave us a much deeper look into their culture as well as an appreciation for the Incas shared history with their predecessors. Overall, Felipe organised a great tour. The logistics were all perfect and the pacing meant we learned a great deal without being too overloaded with information. He’s got a great knack for asking for your questions / thoughts / guesses about the information, making the whole experience interactive and thought-provoking. In addition to giving all of his knowledge related to the tour, Felipe was generous in sharing advice on how to make the most of our time in Lima. Overall it was a 10/10 morning and we’ll certainly plan future excursions in Peru with Chica Tours.
