One of the highlights of our trip to Egypt! - OMG!!! Luxor and the whole tour must have been one of my favourites on this vacation in Egypt. The history and the monuments, something I'm happy we didn't miss... We were able to shift the schedule a bit according to weather conditions which suited us great and instead of valley of queens we went to banana island with the kindest boat captain. Such a great addition to this perfect day! An amazing experience 👏✨

Great experience! - worth it! First of all, the guide, Hany, was so well informed about the Egyptian history and answered all my questions in depth. He gave me all information about ancient Egypt, the temples, the carvings and he took the best pictures of me as I was solo! He informed me of all the possible problems I could face with people trying to sell me things as well. We went to all sightseeing points and it was an absolute pleasure exploring the ancient Egyptian history ! Also, we went to a factory where they create all kind of things out of different materials like onyx, granite, alabaster! We visited a parfum factory and an egyptian cotton factory as well. There was no pressure from the guide to buy anything at any point. He also suggested a great restaurant with a stunning view and good food and he took me to souvenir shopping only after I have asked.

Overview of Luxor, was there for 3 days - I had an outstanding time in Luxor. Top things to do there, in my opinion, are 1) Dendara Temple (a 1/2 day trip), and Luxor temple at night (It stays open till about 9). Karnack light show, Habu temple, and the balloon ride were also nice. Some of these are not on this particular tour. One thing that helped was having such a great guide. Roshdy was very knowledgeable, meticulous, and attentive. Since my interest was photography, and it was also extremely hot, we were able to adjust the tour "on the fly" so to speak, to allow me to make the most of my time. He and Salah, our driver were a great team. I used them each day I was there.

An amazing lifetime experience that’s a must do if ever you’re in Egypt! - My wife and two girls, aged 10 & 8, and I flew from Cairo to Luxor first thing in the morning to take the Luxor Day Tour which was to become a truly awe inspiring experience and Roshdy our guide, who was at the airport promptly to meet us, made it so! He made us feel welcome from the very first moment that we met and his knowledge of the historical context was fantastic. The tour was full of many amazing things to see, discover, and with our knowledgeable guide Roshdy learn from! The valley of the Kings and Queens right through to the temples that the Kings built centuries ago, and what happened to the civilisations over the years was a highlight of our trip and well worth doing the tour…. I couldn’t recommend going there enough but a truly knowledgeable guide like Roshdy is a must. Note: We had a bit of time up our sleeves so Roshdy put together a small detour and we found ourselves in a motor boat heading up the Nile to Banana Island. The girls (well we all did) got to have a go of driving the boat and everyone had a ball. On the island was a few animals to see and we enjoyed plates of fresh fruit…. Go if you get the chance!

Amazing Summertime Adventure - Roshdy was an incredible guide with vast amounts of knowledge!! Seeing and hearing about Luxor's history was an experience of a lifetime. It was truly an amazing adventure! The summertime visit was special despite the heat. Fewer tourists provided the ability to spend more time where I wanted and take pictures at my leisure. I would suggest a summtime visit to Luxor and ask for Roshdy to bef your guide.

Barry was very knowledgeable with the history of the sites we visited and very well informed on the history of Egypt from its earliest days to present. Barry made us feel at ease from the start and by days end a friendship developed. Barry has a great sense of humor and is very personable, and is very passionate in sharing his knowledge.
