  • Tomb of Ramses III - (Admission is free with Valley of the Kings tickets) The tomb of Ramesses III, known as KV 11, is a complex in the Valley of the Kings. It features colorful painted sunken reliefs with traditional ritual texts and scenes of Ramses before the gods. Unique secular scenes in the side rooms depict foreign tributes, royal armory, boats, and blind harpists, giving it the nickname ‘Tomb of the Harpers.’

  • Tomb of Ramases IX - (Admission is free with Valley of the Kings tickets) The tomb of King Ramesses IX, the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty, is richly decorated with vibrant colors and intricate details. The ceiling above the sarcophagus features the goddess Nut. Despite some deterioration, it remains one of the most decorated tombs in the valley.

  • Tomb of Merenptah - (Admission is free with Valley of the Kings tickets) Tomb 8 in the Valley of the Kings is the burial place of Pharaoh Merneptah, son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret. Discovered by Howard Carter in 1903, the tomb features fewer lateral rooms and higher corridors and rooms. It was built on a single axis with a wider entrance, a departure from earlier tomb designs.

  • Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut) - (Entrance fees to the tomb of Tutankhamun 300.00 EGP) (optional) Visit the tomb of King Tutankhamun, the most famous pharaoh. Ascending the throne at around 10 years old and dying at 19, his royal mummy is on display in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

  • Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon, two massive ancient statues, date back to the era of King Amenhotep III.

  • Temple of Karnak - (Entrance fees to the Temple of Karnak 200.00 EGP) The courtyard of Amun-Ra is one of the four sections of the Temple of Karnak, dedicated to the god Amun. Covering about 250,000 square meters, parts of it are undergoing restoration.

  • Temple of Amun - (Entrance fees to the Temple of Karnak 200.00 EGP) The courtyard of Amun-Ra is one of the four sections of the Temple of Karnak, dedicated to the god Amun. Covering about 250,000 square meters, parts of it are undergoing restoration.

  • Avenue of Sphinxes - This avenue of human-headed sphinxes, stretching over one and a half miles (3 km), once connected the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Used annually during the Opet festival, it featured around 1,350 sphinx statues and barque chapels with offerings. Queen Hatshepsut built six chapels along this road.

  • Obelisk of Thutmoses I - The Obelisk of Thutmose I, the smaller of the two remaining obelisks, features inscriptions on each face. Thutmose I, a great warrior-king, contributed many monuments in Thebes, including this obelisk.

Very nice experience Top - We are returning from Hurghada, making contact before leaving with Yohana to book our excursions to the pyramids, Luxor, Sindbad, Paradise Island, Everything went very, very well, very friendly and reassuring, Yohana contacted the drivers or guides during excursions like in Cairo upon arrival at the airport to ensure that we were with the right driver! Top. So happy that we asked him to take a hot air balloon ride, he managed to organize it for us the next day, we highly recommend it. Speaks French very well and is a good listener because we wanted to do Orange Bey which he advised us against because the same thing as Paradise Island so super correct! The prices seem consistent to us given what we find elsewhere. Thanks to Yohana and her entire team (drivers, guides etc...) we had an excellent stay in Egypt a little greasy to you!!! Sunrise balloon flight and a great tour - Had a fantastic day with Ragab which included a wonderful balloon flight at sunrise then a tour of the important sites of Luxor . He gently introduced us to the various topics without giving us a lecture. We were entertained for the whole day absorbing information without realising it. He has a great understanding of the ancient Egyptians, instantly answering any question we threw at him but keeping things on a light note. It was one of the best tours we’ve been on.

Must Do Luxor Tour!! - The sunrise hot air balloon ride with the King Tut Balloons company was phenomenal. Our guide Gabriel was very knowledgeable, courteous and funny! Definitely recommend this company if you are interested in a hot air balloon ride to get a good view of the West Bank of Luxor or if it is first experience riding one. After the hot air balloon ride we met up with our guide and Egyptologist Ragab who gave us an excellent tour of the East and West Bank in Luxor. He was very knowledgeable, answered any question we had and is also a great photographer/knows the good places to get pictures. I would definitely recommend Ragab and this tour if you are wanting to experience Luxor and its history, which was perfect for us since we were in town for a short amount of time.

Best tour in luxor - Great experience, great guide, good lunch. Best tour in Luxor. Start’s earlier, about 5am, and we must be prepared to the hard conditions of weather (43ºc), but at the end it was very interesting and complete.

Wonderful tour guide! - The balloon portion of this trip was disappointing- we took off after sunset as they were monitoring the winds. We also drifted East so did not go over any historical sites, just farmland. The second portion of the trip with our guide Khalid totally made up for it though! With advanced degrees in Egyptology and hieroglyphics he explained so much from the many essential Luxor sites and was so helpful and accommodating. He took some great photos for us (knows all the fun angles). I would definitely recommend him as a tour guide any time!!
