day trip to Luxor - The alien landscape that turn into verdant farmland near the Nile Carnac is spectaclar .... check points ... intimidating

Great way to spend a day in Luxor - Our driver and our personal guide Omar were both fantastic! They both made us feel safe and welcomed into Egypt! I went with a group of 3 and we have a private AC’d car! Our day in Luxor was memorable and i’m so glad I booked this excursion!

Treated like kings in the Valley of the Kings - When you expect something good but the end result will be a lasting memory than you’ve booked an outstanding excursion. And that’s despite spending 7 hours in an SUV to go from Safaga port to Luxor. It was a difficult drive but Hamed, who does it every day, negotiated the countless speed bumps seemingly from memory. No one could do it faster or safer Mahmoud, our Karnak and Valley of the Kings guide, was as thoughtful as he was knowledgeable about everything we encountered. As we approached each significant detail, he would take us aside (always in the shade) to offer commentary and answer questions. He even fulfilled my secret wish of getting a boat ride on the Nile without being asked. Having a personal tour for two at an outstanding value makes this one of the best travel experiences ever.

Amazing Luxor in a day from Safaga cruise port. - What an amazing day visiting the most important places in Luxor from Safaga cruise port! I was tremendously satisfied with this tour, we got to see the best places in Luxor at an amazing price. I was very happy to find this tour, it was very complete and at a fraction of what the cruise line was charging. I love that we were a small group, this made it very personalized. Very glad I found this excursion in Viator.

Mahmoud met us at the van... - Mahmoud met us at the van and transferred us to a private car. He was very helpful and well informed. Had a great afternoon. Karnak and valley of the kings were magnificent. I highly recommend this tour and Mahmoud if you are lucky. Also, the alabaster factory was very informative. Ask for Mohammed.

Amazing - Seeing inside 3 of the tombs with such incredible hieroglyphics and colours. Disappointing that we were not given the opportunity to see King Tuts tomb

Luxor Tour - Apart from a mix up by us getting to the correct Port gate we were eventually picked up 30 mins late. Our driver Mamdoh, was excellent, polite and caring. The guide Marwa was full of knowledge and provided loads of informative narrative. Lunch was delicious. I thought the US $20.00 each to cross the Nile was steep as it took about 3 minutes. Be prepared for sidelines under the premise of being early. We went to a perfume making business which was informative but again no Pressure to buy. This tour was so much cheaper than the ship and the two of us had an air conditioned car and guid to ourselves.

Tour Guide Great Drivers Terrible - The tour itself was wonderful and the tour guide we met in Luxor was great. The two men that drove us to Luxor and back were another story. Four hour car ride there and another four hours back and I doubt they said more than 10 sentences to us. On the way back, our driver was talking on his phone and the other guy grabbed the wheel and pulled the car into the right lane. Some idiot was driving on the wrong side of the road barrelling towards us at 100 kms. If it hadn’t been for the second driver we would probably have ad a very different end to our vacation.

Disappointed +++ - Unfortunately due to bad weather we were unable to access the port.We kept on updating the tour guide on what was happening and let them know when we were imformed by the ship that the port authoritywouldnt let us in.We did ask if we could get a refund as it was out of our control.They said we could only be refunded $22 each, there was 4 of us ,as they had already paid for entrance fees and car and driver.We have not been refunded any money and are not impressed. ..

Terrible guide ! STAY away - We did the 2 days overnight in the Luxzor tour , Mahmoud was our tour guide. All he was trying to sell us stuff , as soon as he found out we were not buying or going extra stuff like hot air balloon, he was not interested in explaining things to us. He didn't guide us in multi attraction. He just bought the entrance ticket and waited for us outside. I had never run into a private tour guide like him . NO GOOD
