Your first tour begins with a visit to the East Bank, where you’ll explore the Karnak Temples. These temples, dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, represent the Theban triad and are a magnificent example of ancient worship. You’ll be captivated by the historical explanations. Next, we’ll visit the Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II. After the tour, your guide will return you to the boat.

Next, your guide will take you to the High Dam, an embankment dam built across the Nile between 1960 and 1970. The final stop is the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk, located in Aswan’s northern stone quarries.
  • Aswan Market - Day 5: Abu Simbel. After a good night’s sleep, get ready for a special visit to the temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari, carved into the mountainside in the 13th century BC.
