Beyond what you're barely paying for. - Mahmouds company was once known as Tia Tours Egypt, you'd be well served by looking up those reviews as well. He created such an unbelievable experience for my cousin and I that I had to create a second review for his newly formed, international company. I'll start by saying I had never been to Egypt, and had no idea what to expect, but I can tell you I left without being able to wrap my head around the life changing experience that was my trip. It started with connecting with Mahmoud a few months before arrival, and working with him daily, as he made sure I was going to see everything I wanted. Mahmoud set us up with the Saqqara/Memphis excursion, the Pyramids excursion, the overnight trip to Luxor, the museums excursion, and the Old Cairo/Citadel excursion. There were a few sites not included on some of the excursions, and Mahmoud did a stellar job of adding them into our itinerary. We had Dr. Sabry as our guide, and Yousef as our driver... I so value the time I got to spend with these two guys, two of my new habibis, not to mention Dr. Sabry is a phenomenal teacher of both Egyptology and Arabic, as he speaks multiple languages. For the Luxor trip, we had Mohammed as a concierge of sorts, and Ahmed as our guide, and I miss these two guys on the daily as well. My six days worth of excursions, transport(driving/flying), hotel/board, food, and everything came to just under $1200... thats literally for everything but tips, extra beverages, and souvenir purchases. The hotel that Mahmoud runs is really nice, very well run, has an amazing staff, has really good food, and its absurdly close to the Giza Plateau... you're dining aesthetics will be unrivaled. Again, if you hadn't caught it, the staff here is the absolutely amazing; they're quite fun, very kind, and are so patient. Its literally become a new mission of mine to make it back once a year to spend time with all of them; thats the impact they had. Im not sure what I might be leaving out, but if I am, its only because these is so much to rave about. If you're thinking about visiting Egypt, I implore you to reach out to Mahmoud and give him a chance to impress you as well.
