Great time had - We had an amazing time on the Concerto as part of our wider Egypt tour. The vessel is a bit old, and could do with some minor renovations to the rooms, but that was nothing major, and kind of what I expected on a Nile cruise. The food was pretty good as well, though the start time of 8pm for dinner service did seem a little late to me. The pool isn't big at all, but that seemed the norm looking at some of the other ships, and after a group of people got into the water after slathering on tanning lotion, the water did start looking a bit questionable after day 2 🤣. The staff though we're the highlight of the trip, they were absolutely beautiful to talk with. Mustafa and Ahmed in the bar were extremely friendly and very happy to stop and have a chat. Both were very helpful with anything that we needed the entire stay. Ibry (not sure if I spelt that right) in the dining room greeted us every meal with a warm smile, and always made sure we were looked after. All in all, it was a really great experience for us.

Nice ‘floating’ hotels, clean with welcoming and friendly staff. - Nice ‘floating’ hotels, clean with welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms were lovely and the boats are continually being upgraded. Our boat was due to be upgraded following our trip (could be improved with more power sockets and a level-access shower room; bath not really needed). Small ‘pool’ which you couldn’t swim in but nice to cool off in (could be cleaner though). Food was nice, excellent selection of fresh salads (not so much with desserts) and good priced local drinks. We were there on an organised tour with trips included but I believe tours can be arranged with the company also.

Very poor service…. Even very weak - Small but comfortable room - with balcony which was a positive point Very poor service in the restaurant and no variety As for the very weak staff and always “concerned” with charging for drinks at the beginning of the meal… As for the reception, they arrived at check out saying that as they didn't have coins they wouldn't give me change... but it was just another “pearl” of the service provided. Worth it for the room and the Trip is very pleasant

Not bad but lots of improvement needed.. - I have been at the cruise from 12th March -15th March I have enjoyed the hospitality of the staff they are professional and friendly as well. Bakar the waiter is so kind and helpful. Things to be improved : 1- Buffet, the food overall is tasteless, dry and not much of variety. Hardly any Egyptian dishes ( although we are in a cruise in Egypt I was expecting more Egyptian cuisine) . However we had an Egyptian night the only dish was good was the Kushary. By they way water is only free on the first day, rest of the days we had to pay for the water. 2- Entertainment, a) no wi-fi in the room and it’s not free of charge. b) although they have set programs for entertainment like the traditional male dance ( Tanora) but we only had music at the bar!

Nile is great, boat is not exceptional - It's worth doing a Nile Cruise. The Nile is of course a wonderful place to experience. Nothing exceptional about the boat . There are some staff members who attend well to you, specially housekeeping and the waiters Negatives: The galabeya party is really nothing. There is no good alcohol onboard. . No wifi in the rooms. You smell the crew smoking in some parts of the boat. Food is ok, nothing great. Our guide Nour Atef was attentive and did his best to accommodate needs for the sightseeing. The sights were fantastic.

Disappointing Experience - Where to begin. We came onboard with a total of 8 people. The ship was old and tired. The Buffett was poor. Food was dry and very little variety. Our shower head was black with mold. The room smelled of body odor. Getting on and off the boat was easy and was a smooth sail. If your expectations are low, you will likely enjoy your time on board. Wait staff were friendly. Drinks I felt were reasonable in price. Approximately $1 USD for a 1.5L bottle of water. Biggest issue was the food though. I haven’t had McDonalds in about 4 years but I ran off for lunch when I saw what was on the Buffett line. Choose wisely

Worst 4 days ever in a trip - This Egypt trip was supposed to be the highlight of our family in 2022 to celebrate our Dad’s 80th birthday Thank God we had 2 nights in a proper hotel before boarding the Concerto Boarding on a Wednesday but be aware that the boat doesn’t leave before Thursday end of afternoon and then you navigate until Friday afternoon but you’ll have one last night in Luxor without moving Not moving means being close to 4-5 boats so no view at all and each time you go out , going through all the boats The boat itself is shameful , needs an urgent renovation , you just don’t want to stay inside , see pictures . The staff is not helpful at all , there is no wifi (they say it’s not working but the comments everywhere show there has never been wifi ). The food is basic / disgusting . The dining room is on the lower ground floor , curtains closed all the time … Be prepared to lose weight as you don’t want to eat anything If you are here to see temples , forget it 20 boats navigate together , stop at the same place and vomit hundreds of tourists at the same time (see pictures again )… This cruise is an absolute scam , just DON’T BOOK EVER

Scam! The boats have no view while on the pier! Three boats park next to each other like sardines - There is a scam regarding all the concerto boats ongoing! That meaning that unless you are extremely lucky you will never have a view while on the dock (meaning all your time in Luxor and Aswan). We paid a premium to have balconies on the boat and from the balcony all we can see is the other boat! Unbelievable! We were placed here by Memphis Tours which is the worst travel agency we have worked with and we weren’t informed about this situation in advance which is the minimum they have to do if you are paying for a so to say “premium boat”! Unbelievable! Do not book!
