Luxor east bank temples - Picked up from the hotel and taken to Karnak Temple where we were met by our guide Abdul, he had already purchased the entry tickets so there was no queuing. Karnak is just spectacular walking through the various sections with Abdul giving you so much information. Wandering in and around the Hypostyle Hall is so atmospheric and magnificent. After Karnak we went to Luxor temple and the Avenue of the Sphinx which joins the two temples. Later on we went sailing on the Nile at sunset in a felucca. Magical.

Amazing Guide And Sights! - This day trip was fantastic, and even though we went in a hotter part of the year, I loved that there was plenty of shade! Our guide Ahmed Sliem was helpful, kind and extremely knowledgeable. It pays to have a guide with you so you can really soak in all the information and look at the ancient treasures in a new light. It was one of our fave Egypt experiences, and it was a great intro to Luxor (we did another tour the next day before taking a boat cruise down the Nile). Plus, a van with AC is sooooo important and a godsend during 41C weather! Ask for Ahmed and you won't regret it!

3 of the best days in Luxor - I’d like to recommend this company for anyone looking for safety, efficiency and a high level of professionalism. The driver Ahmed is a very nice guy and great driver he also provided water bottles daily and his vehicle is air conditioned which to me is an essential, The tour guide Hass welcomed me into the country from the airport and is a very enthusiastic man I’m glad an airport transport was arranged as I wouldn’t have felt comfortable having to haggle in the middle of the night. He also took me on an amazing Nile Felucca ride with superb lunch, the highlight was the salad. The other tour guide Youssef tools me to explore both the east and West Bank and he was clearly very well informed and spoken, he could any questions I had for him. Finally I’d like to thank Mrs Ghada Salah for arranging my amazing experience in Luxor and allowing for me to add extra activities to what was offered.

Second day of our Luxor tour - Second day with Abdul every bit as good as the first! An early pick up from our hotel Aracan Eatabe so we missed the crowds at Karnak temple and on to Luxor temple. Learned so much-hope I remember it all! Abdul our knowledgeable guide was also very helpful sorting out our dietary requirements which is not easy as I'm vegetarian and husband is a coeliac. We had a lovely evening meal at Oasis palace near our hotel. Very friendly and clean. We travelled back to our hotel in Hurghada in our air conditioned mini van all arranged by Mr Hass at Love Egypt tours! We both felt very safe and everything 100% professional. Very nice people

Luxor - A unique experience - Our guide Abdul was fantastic - very knowledgable, passionate, charming and clear. Abdul has an exceptional level of English and showed a real care for our curiosity and well-being. We enjoyed it so much we booked another private day tour to see the tombs of the nobles, workers and scribes on the West Bank. A much more varied and intimate experience, slightly off the beaten track away from the bus loads of tourists at the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Highly recommend if you want a less typical package tour experience.

Love Egypt will help you fall in love with Egypt - We originally only signed up for a pick up from the airport to the hotel. While riding to the hotel, Hass asked what we had booked for our tours. This was our first time in Luxor and he noted that we only scheduled a tour of the West Bank. Hass recommended a tour of the East Bank - and we were SO GLAD that he did. The Karnak temples ended up being one of our favorite things to see. Our guide was Abdul, a professor of Egyptology no less, and he pointed out so many details and historical stories - all would have gone unnoticed and unheard if we had just explored on our own. Hass then arranged for us to have a sunset boat ride on the Nile. So relaxing and wonderful. We will remember Luxor forever. So, yes, get a guide! Hire Love Egypt!!!

Luxor and Karnak overnight trip with Love Egypt - We had a private tour in a comfortable, clean car, in which the driver, Omar, took us to and from our hotel in Hurghada and stayed with us all day in Karnak and Luxor. Our English speaking guide was Abdul. Abdul clearly loved his job and was very informative as our guide but also great company throughout the journey, explaining each location in a humorous and memorable way, also answering all our questions without overstating the information. We had our photo taken by several school children and we said that as he was so well known and greeted by the officials and other guides they must think he was a film star, he enjoyed the joke and played along. At the hotel we were invited on a complimentary boat trip to see the sunset on the Nile, so that was an added bonus to the good food and accommodation. Highly recommended. Thank you Abdul and thank you Love Egypt Tours
