Outstanding food tour in food capital - The stops were arranged with places where the owners were fun, informative, and loved what they were doing. Spectacular guide!!

Food tour in Lyon! - This was a really great tour, with lots of different food stops. Nathalie was our tour guide and she was absolutely incredible. She was so unbelievably knowledgeable and she shared her honest opinions and experiences with us. I am so glad we did this tour. We went to places I would have normally just walked past. I feel so privileged that I was able to do this tour. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of it. We ate so much good food!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to do this tour again if we came back to Lyon. Thank you so much Nathalie for a wonderful evening!

A fun and informative history, culture and eating adventure! - All of our stops were a favorite for different reasons. The cheese shop’s proprietor’ s passion and knowledge about cheeses. Her commitment to finding and offering only the highest quality cheeses if France. The Le Sirop de la Rue meat shop was the most unique related to the culture and history of Lyon and its connection to food. The basement tasting was truly a special experience. The Bouchon stop offered a very delicious Quenelle and, again, connected the food to Lyon’s past through the culture and development of the city. The “praline” cake was an new taste experience. And the grand finale with ice cream by the river was the perfect way to close the evening. We cannot say enough about Tone his knowledge and historical insights into Lyon’ past history and relationship to food. He made everything fun, interesting and interactive. A very memorable evening for all of us. He was fantastic.

Delicious, welcoming intro to local cuisine - We had a wonderful evening with Nathalie, sampling a filling assortment of Lyonnaise specialties and learning about the local cuisine. She also gave us a very helpful list of other delicacies to try in various parts of town to continue our culinary adventures. We were very happy we did this tour on the day we arrived and would very highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lyon.

Eating and Drinking in Lyon - Our guide Nathalie was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We got personal welcomes from all of the shop owners (Frederic was hilarious!), secret tours of a few traboules, and an excellent dessert to take home. If you enjoy trying the local wines, you will appreciate this tour even more!
