Favourite experience in Vietnam - One of our best experiences in Vietnam. We felt very welcome by our guide and his family. We had a great tour, our guide made sure that we felt comfortable and was very helpful and informative. We really enjoyed our lunch and opted to stay for dinner as well. This experience gave us a great insight into Hmong culture. While we were there we felt welcome and included.

100% recommend! - Yien from indigenous travel took us for a walk to the most beatifull rice-terrace of Mâm Xôi and through the lovely Hmong mountainvillage where Yien was born and raised: La Pan Tan. Despite the quite havy rain it was a experience we will never forget. It was amazing how beautiful the landscapes were, even with this bad weather. We just cant imagine how beautiful it must be when the sun shines. The views were stunning and Yien was a very nice guy, spoke English perfectly and it was very lovely to talk with him about the Hmong culture and rituals. He was happy to answer every question that we asked. After our walk we had a great lunch with Yien and his family. An experience we will never forget. We 100% recommend.

Amazing experience - Excelent experience. The guide Yien has been explaining to us so many thing along the tour about Hmong ethnicity, their culture, their daily life, how the grow the rice and infinite knowledge from the place. He is really nice and also he takes pictures of you during the tour so you just focus on your step. He is so flexible with the route. I recommend you to book Indiginous Homestay to get to know Yien's Hmong family. They can give you a lift from the bus stop in Mu Canh Chai to their home so you don't need to worry about how to get there. A real experience and barely touristic.

Experience of a lifetime - A thousand thank yous to this H’Mong family for inviting us into their home, sharing their foods straight off their land, and teaching us their ways. From learning to farm on their rice fields, to watching them catch us a chicken for dinner- I will always remember this experience and feeling so welcomed into a culture that vastly differs from my own. If you are excited to live an authentic experience in Vietnam with amazing hosts, this is the place to stay!
