An excellent team of people to lead your trip! - The team that took us on our 4-day, 3-night Inca Trail hike was top-notch. We were led by Dayvit and Jimmy, who consistently and constantly looked after us. What I particularly liked about them was that they cared for you no matter what! On day 2, which was the most challenging day, I began to have some stomach issues that would not allow me to eat the excellent food they provided. Since Day 2 is the hardest and Day 3 is the longest, not eating on both days can be very hard on the body. But Jimmy always encouraged me, ensured I was looked after, and kept me moving forward. The two were always positive! Both men were very experienced and knew all the tricks and tips. On the last day of the trip, we made it to the Sun Gate and down into Machu Picchu as the sun rose. The weather was perfect, and Machu Picchu gleamed in the morning light! Sam Peru cannot make the sun shine every time, but Dayvit ensured everything else was in place so we could get there early and get our pictures before everyone else showed up. He had an answer to every question and clearly knew what he was doing. I highly recommend this team.

Out of this world amazing - We met our guide at the airport upon arrival and instantly felt like family. Jean Pierre Hurtado from the Sam travel team was ABSOLUTELY amazing. He was caring and answered all of our questions. He entertained the kids with facts and fun information. The kids ended up calling him Uncle JP. We couldn't have asked for a better guide for the four day tour. We also had some technical issues that had nothing to do with our tour with Sam travel and Jean Pierre Hurtado and his manager helped us find the answers we needed. Very thoughtful, informative, organized and on time. We love every minute of our Sacred valley and Machu Picchu tour. Would definitely 100% book again with Sam travel and Request Jean Pierre !!!!
