Shell Key Preserve - Shell Key is an 1,800-acre wildlife preserve only accessible by water. Guests can expect to see wild life at shell key. Birds, hermit crab, horseshoe crab, sand-dollars, sometimes fish, and lots of shells. Snorkeling will maximize the experience. Yes the occasional dolphin and manatee are known to swim by as well. Weather conditions play a huge roll in snorkeling conditions.

Spending more time on the journey enhances your likelihood of witnessing wildlife. Our captain has a knack for coaxing Dolphins to leap in our boat’s wake. However, we can’t guarantee sightings of wild dolphins. We conduct our tours in small to personal group charters. Our location is fantastic.

Great time would recommend - Captain Elijah was a great time. Lotta fun tried his best to get us to see dolphins. Took us to a great spot to find shells and explain the area to us very well

It was a great time - It was a lot of fun! We had a great guy then I’m sorry, but I can’t remember his name. He went above and beyond to find us some dolphins. It was a great afternoon.

Great time!! - Great time and Troy was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable in the area and marine life. My daughter is very interested in marine biology and learned quite a bit. Saw dolphins and wildlife. Great time shelling. Water wasn’t clear enough to snorkel but that was due to hurricane Debbie just coming through. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

Snorkeling and Dolphin Fun!! - The trip was amazing. Hunter captained our boat and took us out the Shell Island to snorkel. He was kind, specialized our music, and engaged with us throughout the ride. The best part was the dolphin sighting. A storm moved in and we were afraid we wouldn’t see any. Hunter spotted several groups on our return and took the time to get the dolphins to respond. It was beautiful!

Enjoyable, great boat Captain and fun! - Hunter was the best boat Captain we could have ask for. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Answered all our questions and had a great sense of humor. Very helpful! The boat ride was absolutely awesome!

Not Snorkeling - Leaving 3 stars because the title of this is misleading. You will not be able to snorkel because the water is not clear enough. Also, we did not go to the location advertised because we were told it was too busy and the water was rough. I will say that the guys that took us out were amazing and my family and I had a good time but we just did not do what we paid to do. We did see dolphins and our captain was very informative and great with us. We were able to get some shells to bring home too.

It was okay - Driver was late he was nice though we did see some dolphins as we parted from the dock the ride was fine the remote beach was okay. The price was good
