Additional Information

Historical landmarks aren’t the only defining feature of a city. There are embedded stories, often overlooked, deeply rooted within the minds of the city dwellers, who sometimes illustrate them more effectively than their streets and plazas. Explore these with us on a two-hour journey that unveils ‘the unseen side’ of Spain’s capital city.

Our exploration begins in Plaza de Pontejos, moves onto Plaza de la Provincia, where we delve into the secrets that the Madrid Metro holds. We’ll then venture into the La Latina neighborhood, one of the timeless zones teeming with local anecdotes.

During the tour of this district, we’ll discuss the city’s beginnings, the infamous crimes that shook its lanes, and the perplexing miracles credited to its patron saint.

The tour ends with visits to the Cathedral, Plaza de Oriente, and Convento de la Encarnación. Throughout this tour, even the Holy Inquisition becomes a part of a narrative that illuminates some of Madrid’s darker corners.

Well - Good free walking mini tour, we were a small group, there was an older adult so anyone can do it. Being a short tour, there is no time to take photos, and at that time it is full of the same tours, but they are all nearby places, so I recommend going through the same places again and looking for better angles for photos. Good guide, he spoke very clearly and had a small speaker so you could hear it well, ideal to leave a tip.

Miserable - Not recommended! Our guide didn't show up and we waited for him for almost an hour and looked for a blue umbrella☂️! But even after a long search there was no sign of the guide
