A Tour of Madrid’s Food Secrets - This was the highlight of our trip to Madrid. Isabelle was our tour guide, and when I say she was the most knowledgeable, fun, kindest tour guide, I am not exaggerating. We started with sweets with churros and porras, with the tastiest melted chocolate I have ever had. Next, she took us to try some iberian ham, explaining what makes Iberian ham what it is. Incredible! Next, we went to an olive oil tasting where we learned that Spain was the worlds #1 olive oil exporter which none of us knew. I want to save the rest of the tour as a surprise but try and request Isabelle if you can. She was the best tour guide I have had in all the tours I have ever gone on. She makes the experience exceptional.

Just do it! - Margit was amazing and one of the best memories of my trip to Spain! She's from the United States and fell in love with Spain. She skillfully blends her US sense of humor with her passion for all things Spain. It was more than a tapas tour. It was an immersion in the culture. I simply can't say enough about her and the experience. All I can say...is just do it! You won't regret it.

Terrific tour with Simon - family fun for grown-ups and 2 kids (ages 6 and 8) - We had a fabulous guided market/neighborhood tour with Simon on our first full day in Madrid. We ate super-well and enjoyed his funny, engaging manner and insightful comments. He connected very well with our 2 kids, ages 6 and 8, but the grown-ups also had a blast and learned a great deal about Spanish food and markets. We highly recommend this experience to other families.

Eating our way through Madrid - Our food tour with Irene was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. Our family enjoyed walking and eating our way through the Malasana neighborhood with her. We enjoyed trying new tapas, new drinks, and learning about the history and culture of the food and neighborhood. The tour was tailored to meet our dietary needs and we loved everything that we ate. Irene was the perfect guide for us - fun, knowledgeable, and interesting.

Excellent, fun and yummy tour! - Excellent and very fun tour! We loved Margret and the entire tour! Both Amy and Margret did everything to get us to the tour after a late night arrival the night before, a missed alarm clock and waking up ten minutes after the tour had already started!! Food, drinks, and explanations were amazing! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Excellent Food Tour in Spain - We had such a great evening with Simon! Right from the beginning Simon was engaging and informative about Madrid and its food. We had amazing churros, delicious cured meats, olive oils and met the owners of various booths in the market. One of the highlights was selecting a fish from the fish market and then having it grilled at Barceló Bistro by Jesus (who was very friendly and so nice to hang out with). Would recommend this tour for any families with tweens/teens looking to do something a little different! Simon made sure the tour was geared to our 12 year old daughter who really enjoyed it! The whole process of arranging the tour was well organized. Definitely one of our favorite tours in Spain!
