Excellent way to see 2 sites. - Excellent way to see both sites on the same day and skip the line. Time was given to have a brief lunch in the Palace Cafe. Having a knowledgeable guide is a must especially for the Prado in order to learn much more about the art you see.

Wish we could have stayed longer with our guide in Prada. So interesting. - The prado was very quick and efficient even though it was extremely busy with many tours. enjoyed the city tour even though the palace was cancelled due to the king being in residence.

Del Prado - Viewing gorgeous paintings including Rubens, Goya & Valazquez. Too large of a group. Hard to hear tour guide on the earpiece.

Royal Palace Great, Prado "Okay" - The Royal Palace part of the tour was excellent other than the fact that the place is simply overrun with so many other tourists. Everything was well explained and led. We were less impressed with the Prado part. The guide knew a lot but spent too long explaining every last detail on a few individual pieces. This coupled with the massive crowds led me to spend most of my time looking at OTHER pieces, perhaps not as "impressive" but IMO you don't have to know every detail about a piece in order to appreciate it.

You may want do separate tours - Our guide was energetic and knowledgeable. Much better that going without a guide. One word of caution: After 90 minutes of touring the palace and a 45 minute walk to El Prado, we were feeling tired and hungry and didn't enjoy El Prado as much as we would have if it were a separate tour. However, the guided tour of the city during the walk in between was valuable.

Well worth it - The tour was well worth it. Right into the palace and the Prado. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was well worth walking with her between places as she told us such a lot of history of Madrid on the way. At The Prado she showed us about 10/12 paintings. She was very informative and engaging. There’s so many paintings in there, the tour gave us focus. Only comment is audio guide was not perfect.

Tour Operator hired by Viator NO GOOD - Viator needs to stop using tour operator "Naturanda Turismo Ambiental". 1st half of tour of Madrid Palace no problem, however after a one hour walk to El Prado museum, tour operator was adding additional people to only the museum part of tour. Tour guide wasted 45 minutes of our time calling the people to add because they were late in arriving at museum. Tour operator selfish in penalizing our group, finally got to line, way too long after 45 mins wasted, we gave up too late in day to start museum with such large crowds. If Viator uses this tour operator, cancel and use different one
