A fun evening, full of interesting history and delicious food - Daniel was a gracious, knowledgeable and energetic host, showing us a combination of “must see” sights and local venues. The quality of the tapas and drinks were solid, and the paella dinner at the end of the tour was excellent. Thank you Daniel for a fun and memorable evening!

Walking Intro to Madrid and tapas - Met up with Pablo at the Isabell II square. (amazing how many different routes Maps will give you!). Great walking tour and intro into the tapas world. Stopped at two locations for a tapas and beer or wine. Then on to dinner at a local restaurant (Nicasio) with a variety of courses. Great seafood paella and sangria. And met several other tourists and shared their stories. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Local flavors and historical info - My husband, my 16-year-old daughter and myself took a tour with Daniel who was very fluent in American English. He took us to restaurants where and his family ate, and he taught what the locals eat as we were very interested in the good local eateries. He had good visuals and knowledgeable on the architecture and history . We saw several plaza and churches. He got my 16 yo daughter engaged in conversation, and she is usually very shy. The croquettes with cod, chorizo and ham, gaspacho, sangria, wine, after dinner liquors, and the authentic madrid paella were delicious and plenty to eat. Recommend to everyone.

Attention Foodies! This is the tour for you! - Daniel was an amazing guide, expertly blending both the gastronomical and historical aspects of Spain and Madrid throughout the tour. He also lent a lovely personal touch to the tour, sharing his unique experiences and anecdotes, along with passionately and patiently answering all our our group's questions. The food choices for this tasting and dinner tour were perfect and all were quite delicious. We'll never forget the codfish croquettes! A perfect evening with new friends, great food with Madrid as our amazing backdrop. **My husband had a brief medical issue during the evening, but because of Daniel's fast response and quick thinking, was speedily remedied and our evening went on as scheduled. Our profound thanks go out to him for his kind and compassionate response, which saved the evening for us all.

The Best Food & History Tour in Madrid - Really enjoyed the experience. Daniel, the owner, was great. Able to provide history and personal stories to make us appreciate life in Madrid. Food on the trip was also great. We had a stop at a bar for Deep Fried Cod and a glass of wine, then a visit to the Museum of Ham for lots of ham tastings and beer, and finally a full meal at a nice restaurant where we had Spanish Gazpacho, paella, Sangria, other alcohol, dessert, and more I can't remember. It was truly a fantastic experience and good value. I'll do it again next time I am in Madrid.
